The app even guides you on where to place each of the devices for the best coverage. The only down side is that the units seem to run hot, which would indicate that they are drawing a decent amount of power and are not super efficient.

The eero 6+ routers consume 4.5W of power. eeros are expected to get warm when they’re turned on and operating. Touching your running eero may feel comparable to touching the bottom of a laptop that’s been sitting on your lap and in use for an extended period of time. To ensure your eero is operating at an optimal temperature, please: 1. Place your eeros out in the open. 2. Don’t cover your eeros with other objects. 3. Avoid placing your eeros near excessive heat or direct sunlight.4. Avoid placing your eeros on soft surfaces. 5. Use the power adapter that came with your eero.

It did not increase the speed through my home. I still call eero help line in the hope speed fix will enhance. Nonetheless, I like my eero 6+, only wish I had better uniformity in speed throughout home.

I enjoyed the Asus parental software, but Eero is an equivalent. In summary, great product and give my whole house full coverage. It solved all of my connection problems.

At first I wasn't sure, but it was able to connect to my garage where I have a Echo Dot. The Dot is able to perform as an extender, so now my house is covered with no dead spots.

It just works. The biggest con for me is, it requires a cellphone number to setup and my grandma only has a landline.

The biggest difference in this vs the competition is the inital set up. Its like the apple of routers and walks you through it and everything connects seamlessly.

I have 1600 sq ft home with add on to the back that never had good signal strenth. Now i have no problems throughout my whole home. Set up was easy i called customer service with a qustion they were very nice and helpful.

One cube on each level provides super fast wifi. Very minimal loss of speed when using wireless compared to wired connection. Awesome mesh system!
