However, the new router system created some existing equipment to operate in consistantly at first and one door monitor still will not connect.

Pro tip: use Geek Squad for the install because they will reprogram all your smart devices. They reprogrammed all my Alexas, my refrigerator, oven, washer, dryer, garage door openers (2), my laptops, iPad, and cell phone. Worth every penny, and not I can stream anything I want to my basement.

Also didn't think I would have to log into the wireless connection every time we turn on a television in a bedroom not to far away from the main receiver

Posted .Hi Jamesarw. Thank you for your feedback about the eero 6+ system. Devices that only operate on the 2.4 GHz band may need an extra step to get them up and running. You can use the eero app to temporarily hide the 5 GHz band while you get your 2.4 GHz devices connected. Open the eero app and tap “Settings” at the bottom of the home screen. Tap “troubleshooting” towards the bottom of the settings screen. Tap ”My device won’t connect.” Tap “Temporarily pause 5 GHz. This will pause the 5 GHz band for 15 minutes while you get your 2.4 GHz devices setup. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please reach out directly to eero customer support at (877) 659-2347. Depending on the layout of your home and the materials used in its construction, you might want to add an Outdoor eero 7 to boost outdoor coverage. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
