    These units do not have Ethernet lights, nor a printed MAC address - both are beneficial for easier troubleshooting (which was needed). Auto-Upgrade to new SW failed multiple times, causing hours of extra work. App tools fail more often than they works. I do not recommend this product.

    The Eero application and options are great, however I purchased an eero 7 2-pack to provide wifi coverage across 2 levels of my home. The upload/download speed for the eero 7 further from the router (less than 25 feet) is less than 1/2 of the speed of the eero 7 closest to the router. I expected less degradation.

Here are some tips that may remedy your issue: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. eeros should be no more than 50 feet away from another eero. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Place your eeros high. Ideally at a height halfway between the floor and the ceiling. 5. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better.     Not so good wifi extender, my house is 2890 soft one single floor and the wifi is not good, I have a 1 GB internet connection, and this is not good

    Total Letdown and Money Grab by eero

    This purchase was and is a real letdown. Extremely poor performance compared to the 6 Pro. I lost a lot of wife speed, even after upgrading my Arris modem for my Comcast internet service. Eero & throttles down my 1.3 gigabit service. If i stand next to a module I might get 700. That’s it. Move 10-15 feet away im luck to get 500 and my 3 meshed eero module son lay put out between 180-300. This was a money grab by eero, no idea whe7 this product needed to be made other than to have additional sales. I am looking elsewhere now.

    Nice when they worked - but they didn't work

    Had to return these. Something in the config was causing my internet to bounce every few minutes. After hours on the phone with my ISP's tech support they told me it was most likely a wireless issue. I returned, changed to Asus, and sure enough haven't had a problem since. Not sure if I got a faulty unit or this is systemic to Eero, but it was very frustrating.

You can access the health check by tapping on the "Settings" tab in the and then selecting the "Troubleshooting" option. Once in the Troubleshooting page, you'll select the "My Internet connection drops" option. The eero app will run the health check on your network, identify what's going on, then present suggested next steps.     2 stars, because - It took several attempts and some troubleshooting to set it up correctly. - It improved my internet speed by only 35% compared to Wifi6. It only gave me 1.4 gbps over my 2.0 gbps internet plan For $169.99 I would expect a better performance I returned it and bought a CAT8 ethernet cable instead which gave me full 2.0 gbps

    I can't get it to work. Eero said it is my AT&T router, I need someone with more experience to help, but I don't have that.
