Was needed to utilize capability new fiber internet which broadcasts from near the entry point of the fiber optic service to the house which was not near the center of the house.

Well worth the money since I currently have 10 items connected with no reduction in speed.

The only complaint is that you are forced to use the very limited Eero app to configure and manage. I have had problems switching from dynamic to static IP without performing a complete reset of the network.

Regarding the eero app, we understand the desire for more advanced configuration options. The eero app is designed to make network management simple and accessible for all users, but we recognize that more technically inclined users may want additional control. The eero team is continuously working to improve the app and expand its feature set based on customer feedback like yours, so your input is valuable in shaping future updates.
As for the issue you experienced when switching from a dynamic to a static IP address, this is something that can typically be resolved without a full network reset. Here are a few steps that may help if you encounter this again. First, within the eero app, navigate to Settings > Advanced networking > ISP Settings > WAN type > select Static IP, and fill in the IP address, Subnet mask, and Router IP given to you by your ISP > tap save setting when you’re ready. Before making the switch, try power cycling your modem by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in, as some ISPs require a modem restart to release the previous IP lease. Your network will automatically reboot to finalize your changes. If your network completely resets instead of reboots, please reach out to eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available 7 days a week from 6am PT to 8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

This made all the difference. I am hard wired into this with my Xbox and was able to hit 500mbps plus once I installed the mesh kit. Setup was super easy and took me less than an hour to hook up all the devices in my house to the network

I did lots of research and was going to over-buy to future proof our wifi, but after talking to a BestBuy associate I purchased something less expensive that would more than cover our needs. I have been very happy with this purchase so far.

Great For Casuals

The only thing I don’t like is that the app pushes eero+ for more features where other devices offer those features out of the box. If you’re a casual, this will be a great purchase for you.
