    Poor Speed in Satellites

    The main Eero gets over 2 Gps but none of the satellites can get over 250 Mbps, no matter where i place them. I have spent hours trying placement and in the phone with Eero. Their answer? Its where im placing them. I'd switch to Netgear if I could afford it.

Swapping your gateway eero (the one connected to your modem) with another eero on your network can help determine if the issue is your experiencing a layout issue or a hardware issue. To perform the gateway eero swap, please follow these steps: Determine which eero in your network you would like to swap with the current gateway. Unplug the modem from power. Remove power from the secondary eero that is not connected to the modem. Unplug the current gateway eero from power. Plug the modem into power and wait for it to come online. Connect the replacement gateway to the Modem via ethernet cable. Connect the replacement gateway to power. Connect the original gateway eero to power in the replacement gateway’s previous location. Allow both eeros to boot up and come online. It may take up to 10 minutes for your eero network to come back online as your network assigns the new gateway. If the new gateway gets the original high speeds, then you have a placement issue or may require additional eeros. If the new gateway doesn't get the original high speeds, you'll need to reach out to customer service so that they can further troubleshoot. They can be reached at (877) 659-2347. I hope this helps.     Garbage, actually took the meh coverage of my existing router and made it completely useless. Ran tests in all sections on the house and it was abysmal everywhere, including right next to the connection point.

    DOES NOT HAVE A 6GHZ BAND. Supports wifi 6 but there is no 6ghz band for wifi 6e or 7

WiFi 7 is a technology standard that improves performance across the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands. Because its improvements are not exclusive to the 6 GHz frequency, WiFi 7 routers can come in dual-band or tri-band.     When i set up yhr first unit it is completely fine, i get up to 1.9Gb down, as soon as i set up the second speeds plummit to a wopping 200mbps. Continues to do this until i completly remove the maingateway from the network and restart the whole process again. Can only get fast speeds on one eero unit. Spend 2 and a half ours on the phone with eero support snd they couldnt fix my issue

      Hi YurlyA. Thank you for your feedback on the eero 7 system. I'm sorry to hear that you've had connection issues. Soft resetting your gateway eero (the one connected to your modem) can be a useful troubleshooting step. To soft reset your eero: Hold the reset button until its LED flashes yellow (approximately 7 seconds). Once it flashes yellow, release it. As the eero boots up, the LED will flash white, then blue, and then return to solid white. Once the LED is solid white, you should be able to see your eero is back online in the eero app. If you still experience connection drops, take note of the time of the drop and reach out to customer service so that they can troubleshoot further.
