Solved a problem I had with wifi reception in an upstairs room that was remote from the router

This mesh system works when it wants to it could be this Internet service we have, staff was very helpful and told me how it worked

The eero is more compact but thicker in height. I love how each eero device allows for 2 Ethernet connection.

Works really well, easy to set up and any questions technical support is helpful, courteous and easy to reach

I bought this product after getting an exclusive promotion by one of the geek-squad members. I'm not sure if geek-squad is now into paid promotions of this sort, but the product is a mess and the app is a disaster. There is no way you as a user can select between 2GHz or 5GHz bandwidth. (At least in the app I would like the control at a device level to set that preference) There is no way you as a user can decide which beacon a particular device needs to connect to. (currently all my devices are connected to a single beacon regardless of the distance) There is no way to receive a verification code to log into the account if you log out. There is absolutely no way to log into your account if you lose access to your mobile phone (you'd think they'll let you log in using email, but no! eero won't even get the basic functionality right) So I'm currently not able to manage my home network until my phone gets repaired. Oh wonderful now i'll also get auto renewed for the extra security features that you're expected to pay for. I'm keeping the product only because I do not wanna go through the hassle of co-ordinating another purchase with my roommates to solve the dead spot problem in the apartment. If you're reading this and are in doubt, this is one instance where the geek-squad misleads you. Don't hear a word about their 100% customer satisfaction nonsense. I bought this, and i'm not satisfied.
