Customers are saying

Customers recognize the AC Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System (3-Pack) as being easy to use and setup, resulting in improved Wi-Fi range and coverage. Many appreciate the strong signal and the system's performance, especially considering its price. While some experienced buffering, the majority reported significant improvements in their Wi-Fi experience after installation. The positive feedback on ease of use and improved coverage outweighs the relatively few negative comments about buffering.

Easy to connect and when it’s working right it’s great. I have better coverage for all devices only problem is I’ve been experiencing random disconnects.

Eero not my hero for mesh wi-fi

Average product. Sold to me as each of these Eero blocks act as powerful as a modem (or the same as the strong signal when you are in the same room as your modem), not true. They perform about the same as any wall plug-in extender for your wi-fi. Not worth the added expense. And yes, I made sure they were not obstructed with big metal objects in the way. I have an 1800 square foot house and the signal across the home is average with regular drop outs being within 10 feet of it.

I do not like the fact that we have to pay for the extra features. TP-Link includes those features for free and also has better speed.

Challenging to install and use if ISP is Frontier

I'm sure the product is good. I was unable to install and / or use it. We have Frontier Communications router which is a combo modem and router. As a Frontier customer we are forced to continue to use modem. To make the eero router work with the Frontier modem, you have to be able to disable the Frontier router. I was unable to do that; just did not know how. Further, the eero documentation implied that some of the eero options or benefits would not otherwise be available in this case. So, my takeaway is that if you have a combo Frontier modem/router, the eero router will be somewhat difficult to install and some of the benefits of the eero router will not be available. We have since returned the eero router.

Having placed these multiple times around my apartment, I am still losing connection to them to much. I like that you can hardwire devices to them in 3 different areas of your home.

This did not work with my network and some devices and so I returned it for something that would work. check for its adaptability to networks and devices.

The system works. But not as reliable as I hoped. It drops internet on some devices. The dead spots are gone. It seems like the item needs a lot of updates.

Not really happy that it constantly needs to be rebooted, it’s losing signal a lot and I bought it for that reason. Not sure I would recommend it ever

In the beginning, eero was really good about extending our wifi coverage but it was a little more difficult to connect ( at&t) and after 2 months our connection was really poor. We had less than 1000 square foot apartment and it would cut off in between rooms. We disconnect after the 2 months and our regular service turned out much better.

Range isn't really the one advertised in the box. Worked well in closer areas but pass 1000 sqf issues to connect and with stable service.

So this was definitely easy to set up, and the coverage was great. However, I could not get it to work with my Roku devices, and it eventually stopped working with Chromecast and my Firestick. I tried contacting customer support, but the first things they suggested via email didn't work, and then I wasn't able to get through on the phone in a reasonable time. I just gave up and bought a Netgear router.

Really unsure whether it is the Eero wi-fi device itself or maybe its the cable feed, but I find that I sporadically lose wi-fi on some of my devices for no reason.

Was as easy to set up as advertised. However it doesn't work as well as advertised even though we have a relatively small house. Wouldn't buy it again.

The signal seems fine, but set up was extremely difficult for me. I’ve set up multiple different systems, and this one was the most difficult, by far.

It was a gift full of frustrations

I bought this as a gift for my sister in TX. I was visiting and sadly, since the initial setup things were buggy. At first, one unit had a red light (even though, it was almost next to the other), had to reboot them all... I said ok lets try this again... it all went back normally. About 2 hours or so after, one of the units seem to be working OK, however any device that connected to this one could see a good signal strength but not internet!... again, another full reboot did the magic.... We saw a system update available thru the mobile app, I told to myself, this hopefully will get rid of those bugs... I would knew better and didn’t apply it and just return this device back to Best Buy. The update process on itself was a bit of a nightmare... 2 out of the three units went to the latest firmware, but the 3rd one now went back to the red led and after many attempts somehow it got upgraded and things went back to normal. Next day I had to take a flight back home, and my sister reports me that the internet is On/Off on an area of the house... after so much frustration, disconnecting one unit seem to help. So long story short, we are replacing this system with another one... still not sure which one, but this one clearly and sadly it has been just one frustration after another...
