My Eero was purchased over 2 yrs ago when Netgear and Cox cable routers kept disconnecting. I went to Best Buy to replace and saw the Eero bundle that came with 3 routers for around 250 dollars. That was the best decision I have made, because my problems with internet connections have dropped drastically and almost all problems have been exclusively the cable company's fault. I currently am utilizing a seven Eero router setup for a 3,000 plus square foot area, I am using four regular version 5 routers and three version 5 pro routers. I recommend only the version 5 hardware because all the units are routers which means if anyone of them becomes defective or a problem, I can replace the unit with anyone of the other components in the system. You cannot do the same process with the version 6 Eero bundle , because they only provide one router and the rest are extenders with less capabilities. Please do not waste your money on the version 6 Eero bundle if you truly can not access the extra speed or other benefits from the latest upgrade. For the vast majority of people the problems will not be coming from Eero in terms of minimal internet speed, but the version 6 bundle does not guarantee you will have a better experience than the older version 5. And on top of the potential that you will not benefit from any upgrade, the version 6 bundle costs two to three times more than the older versions. My system is currently accessing over ten internet connections at this time which has always been a hassle for speed when I used the old routers and Wi-Fi connections prior to using the Eero network.

So happy with this wifi extender. Not only improves in house wifi but it extends into backyard which was the main goal.

I rarely find tech items that work as advertised right out of the box thus requiring support phone calls. With limited knowledge and minimal patience this was set up almost as quickly as instructed and works better than expected. My faith in modern technology has been restored. Love dan

These pods were easy to install and are providing great connection speeds and performance throughout the entire property. I have also moved them around for hardwire connections and have not experienced any issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this product

Replaced my Netgear R7000P due to poor coverage on 2nd floor of home. Setup of eero was super easy. Coverage throughout the house is great so far. The eero app is ok. I have not signed up for the eero Secure yet.

Most of our streaming, game playing, you tubing etc. is done in our den. The kids were always complaining about the internet dropping out. Our router was ac type. The wife suggested that we increase our internet speed of 25mbs. Instead of having the added expense each month with faster internet, I decided to try this mesh system. I set the system up with three satellites. Right away the den got better reception, but after about ten days, the satellite installed in the den started to drop out. I unplugged the den unit and behold the system was much faster throughout the entire house with just two satellites. The system has not dropped out since. about two months ago. The game consoles, smart TV DVR etc. in the den are getting a solid 24-25mgb, more than enough to get the job done. The kids are tickled pink.

I wish I had purchased this a long time ago. No extender I have ever had compares to this mesh system. Very easy to set up. Just download the eero app on your phone and it walks you through everything. I am not getting 3 times the speed I was on my previous Linksys router and extender (2,700 sq. ft. house). I stream Sling and have Netflix and now there are never any pauses or loading issues on these services. I can get 100-130 MB's anywhere in the house from any device- even a cell phone. I'm wondering what the difference is in the next step up on the eero mesh system since the price jumps significantly. This package was $169 plus tax. Next step up is $379 for eero.

This Wi-Fi mesh system has never produced the speeds that it is supposed to. It does extend my Wi-Fi signal pretty well throughout my house (with the purchase of another unit), but it loses speed so badly when you move more than a few feet from each router/extender. I’ve been dealing with technical support (via e-mail - the only option) since I bought these, and every time, they gaslight me, claiming that the problem is on my end (interference with other electronic equipment, etc.). I spent money to move where the cable enters my house to avoid interference with other electrical equipment, but that didn’t help. The speeds I get through my eero are significantly slower than what I’m paying for from my isp. I get over 500 mbps up/down from AT&T, and that’s consistent. However, my eero system routinely clocks between 40 and 100 up/down. Sometimes, streaming video buffers for extended periods, which should never happen with my fiber connection and the low number of users/devices in my house. The AT&T provided modem/router produces close to 500 up/down, but its signal strength and coverage isn’t as good as the eero (which is the whole reason I bought the eero). I DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone, and I wasted hundreds of dollars and countless hours with technical support and other futile “solutions” to the problem.

Wow Amazing simple setup WAY TO GO EERO!!! I noticed one review complained about needing a wireless connection prior to setup. This was not what I experienced setup was seamless and ohhhhh so fast!!!! I have never experienced such a simple setup!!! The connection is working perfectly although, connection did drop on initial setup it has functioned without fail since. I AM VERY IMPRESSED AND PLEASED. I spent over 200 for an linksys system which has just stopped working grrrrrrrrrr

Great router for the price, haven’t had any issues after 2-3 years of use.

When they setup my tv the recommended To be able to use WiFi to download apps on my tv And it’s worked

I'll be honest...I don't know squat about routers. This was recommended by the sales clerk and it seems to work great. I've had several people (like cable techs) who also tell me this is the only way to go. So I'm happy. Not to mention the installation was all free with the total tech program. You just can't beat that.

Still cut your speed to half. Ive tried a lost of settings but nothing

This system came in very handy for a unique situation. My folks just moved into a 3000sf home that only has one coax outlet in the entire house (and on the far end). With the main unit on the modem, the other two spaced equally thru the house, the internet connection is full strength in every spot in the house. No drop offs and the speed is impressive all the way on the other end of the house. Very pleased.

Easy setup and connection to my existing router. I realized I needed 2 units after the fact. One connected to the upstairs router, and the satellite unit for my basement. My basement now works perfectly fine and it now gives me an expanded and additional network. Worth the value and highly recommended.

We had spotty wifi connection and speed in our three story home. Spotty is being kind. Since setting up the Eero Mesh Wifi.....everyone is happy in the house. now we have no problems throughout the house with speed and connection. Awesome product. I'm curious to see and read the difference between this one vs. the pro. Also, it only took a maximum of 10 minutes to set up....

This mesh system made a huge difference in my Wi Fi. I have four TV's and my computers on the system. My router is in a back bedroom so I was getting some buffering. With these I have not had one instance of buffering and everything just seems to work quicker. Was a great purchase.
