Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ease of use, coverage, and setup of the Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System. Many appreciate the improved range, performance, and signal strength, resulting in a better overall experience. However, some customers find the price to be expensive, and a few have noted that the units can get warm. While some buffering issues were reported previously, the system largely resolves these problems for most users.

    Sleek Design & Amazing App!

I really wanted to keep this system, at first I had constant blazing speeds but after a while they began to drop and be inconsistent. Apple products struggled to work right with it. When I connected my three xbox ones they were inconsistent as well. Love how small they are and the app is amazing. Sadly I returned them due to inconsistent speeds and lag.

Download speeds BAD b/c of their proxy - peak hrs

Eero uses a proxy service for their "features" such as Eero plus and just filtering in general. You will get it home and see fantastic speeds, until PEAK hours. I worked with manufacturer for two months trying to figure out their issue - what it boils down to is their proxy connection is saturated during peak internet usage hours, making your streaming video, and download anything SO slow it will drive you crazy. I have 500Mbps download speed and it keeps these speeds most of the time until peak hours of 8PM to 11PM EST - in which it would then dip into the low teens (~13-15Mbps). I MADE SURE it was not the ISP by doing several tests over a period of weeks with them, and verifying without a doubt it was an issue with the Eero devices. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this issue. I am a network engineer by profession and my professional opinion of this set is bad due to Eero's backplane services causing slowness issues. ALSO - Don't try to work with manufacturer, because then Best Buy will refuse to return the devices as well.

Was so excited to get a mesh system for the house to help with our not so great wifi signal, didn’t mind forking out $400, and it worked great, there wasn’t a dead spot anywhere in the house. But that excitement started to dissipate around 1 year. Of course as things always seem to happen, two days after my 1 year warranty expires, my eero router goes out!!! When our internet kept going down, we assumed it was a spectrum modem issue but after repeated visits and 3 modem switch outs later, they determined it was the eero router was was also getting very hot to the touch! I Wasn't happy at all, it’s certainly not worth the price if it lasted for only a year.

I like that you can move the eeros separately and put different places but none of my Ring cameras outside stay connected. The eero is probably 20 feet away from camera not working. They use to with my old router so im not a fan. Just dealing with it at this point because i have 2 separate camera systems.
