Orbi is easier to take out of router mode and put into AP mode and still have mesh

Just ok

It's not too much different than my Netgear router. But once I set it up I didn't want to bother with returning it. Hey just an expensive range extender.

Great speed, great coverage

Had somed rop out issues early, but that has seemed to resolve on its own. 3 units cover 4200 sq ft house with ease.

Easy set up, not much better than router

Our house is 3000sf The coverage is not much better than our 5 year old Apple system...and we are STILL getting delays.... Disappointed

Waste of money!

Unless they were not properly installed, I just wasted a lot of money. Of course, the experience I had with the Best Buy installers on this and a 4-camera Ring security system, it might very well not have been installed properly. He didn't even bother giving me password that he decided on, let alone asked me for my preference. It used to take less than an hour to do updates on my laptop. Now it takes most of the night. Don't know if the new Eeros had anything to do with it. Maybe just a coincidence. Nevertheless, I can say I have Eeros.

THe house is well covered but I wanted a better signal so I guessed the Eero pro would do the job. After 1MONTH of use, all I wish is to give them back. The sync aint great, the software of IoT devices is now ready for Eero and it ends by trying to connect to the main. I have lots of drop than I don’t have at all on the others wifi with the gateway. All the devices I added since (smart tv, ring cam, etc...) are on the comcast gateway because it simply works. Very disappointed, dont spend 400$ + taxes in this

A little slower than my previous router system

I’ve had to reboot them several times. My whole house is blanketed by WiFi, but it’s a little slower and dropping some of my electronics is annoying!

Not good system for me

Eeros not up to speed

Our internet has been painfully slow throughout the house on all devices. After spending an overall significant amount we’ve noticed very little improvement. We’ve worked with our ISP and Eeros tech guy with no more improvement even after bumping up our download speed. Disappointed to say the least as we were promised to see quite an improvement.

Stopped working after 5 weeks

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were going to buy another Google system after the old one was damaged by a lightning strike, but the Best Buy Geek Squad guy told us this was much better, and worth the price (double that of Google). We installed and it worked fine for about 5 weeks. Then all Apple products stopped working on it on one day. All Android, Microsoft, Sony and LG products continued to work fine. I sent a help request to eero customer support via email. They responded after 4 days! with a request for all kinds of system performance data. By this time, my wife had already spent 4 hours on a phone call with a tech. 4 hours! They ultimately had her reset the entire system, establishing a new network id. That allowed her to reach the internet with her ipad, so, thinking all was finally alright, she ended the call with the eero rep. Although all devices now will connect to the internet, speed is less than 1MB/second, so games lag or are dropped, streaming video is impossible, etc. My wife called the Geek Squad. They made an appointment to come to our home to troubleshoot the system 11 days from now (the earliest date available). So, we will be without internet for 11 days longer with our brand new $500 eero system.

Couldn't tell a difference

Poor Customer Service

My experience with the sales associate was pathetic. She could barely answer many of my questions. Most of her time was spent looking the products up online and then trying to answer my questions. Furthermore, she incorrectly scheduled my appointment for installation. When Geek Squad came to my home to install the products they told me that their third party they hire would have to do this. I then went back to the store and spoke with Tray, a geek squad manager, to reschedule my appointment. After explaining to him the issue, he assured me things would be correctly scheduled. The installation day came and not to my surprise, my appointment had once again been scheduled incorrectly. It’s now February and my products are still in the box, uninstalled. Typically, I wouldn’t take the time to write such a review but this exact issue happened at another Best Buy location. I’ve been a loyal elite plus member for a decade. I will no longer use Best Buy nor their credit card.
