Good but not significant
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the eero 2-pack because the box says 1 eero per 1000 sq ft. My house is a little over a thousand so the 2-pack should be enough. I personally feel these two are just barely enough. I would recommend if you have a long ranch style house you should get the 3-pack. Anyway I'm coming from an all Apple router set up. I had the wireless N AirPort Extreme and a airport express. Set up for the eero was a little rocky at first. The first unit hooked up fine but the second erro always said poor connection to base, even when it was about 10ft away with line of sight. I decided to just give the single unit a try for awhile but that was worse than my AirPort Extreme and when morning came the eero had a redlight and wasn't even broadcasting the network. I reset the erro to factory and decided I was going to return it but for some reason I decided to give it another go since this system gets such good reviews. This time everything worked the way it should of. Everything is fast and very stable so far. The biggest difference between the eero and the AirPort Extreme with basestation or another router with an extender is the eero is smart enough to put your device on the right eero. This wasn't always the case with the airport. Some devices saw both units some devices would never see or connect to the second unit. Another great part about the eero is the app. I like seeing all of my devices on my network, what their signal strength is and which eero their connected to. Overall the system does its job. I have better overall coverage. I do wish the units were cheaper as it's going to be at a bare minimum $200 to extend my network further. I personally think a single router in this price rage with a house that isn't very wide and is more up and down would be a better fit. Otherwise it's a great system and I hope it continues to get better with future updates.

Kills Luma
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first bought a 3-pack of Luma at Best Buy. It was pathetic. Poor performance, connection, coverage etc. After a week I returned them to my local best buy in Houston. I purchased the eero direct and had zero issues setting up. The speeds are consistent and coverage is great. I did have to purchase a 4th, but my house is around 4000 sq ft and eero only covers around 1000 sq ft per unit. My review of Luma is on the best buy website. It is at the bottom. It WAS the only review, but Luma quickly dispatched their review/internet reputation management as seen by the 5 star/generic reviews posted ahead of mine. Luma may eventually get their issues resolved, but in the meantime buy an eero!

Easy setup and great range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Eero was so easy to setup. It took less than 15 minutes and I had both the main unit and the extension unit setup. It's so much faster than before and I can go anywhere in my home and be guaranteed to have a fantastic signal.

Incredibly Simple - Just Works Everywhere
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having been through all of the high end routers including the most recent RX8000 and extender the eero is so easy to setup and most importantly works great. Our home is about 4000 SFT and the three pack is covering every corner. One in the basement plugged into Comcast Internet, main level and second level. Couldn't be happier. Will see how they perform over time but optimistic they won't degrade to kbps even with frequent reboots. Potential Cons - - Only two ports on the back, much of our home has hardwired ethernet for certain devices. Easily solved with a $49 ethernet switch works great. - Limited advanced configuration capabilities. Basic port forwarding is all I am needing so far and that works. - Price, It's is expensive however if it performs well over time = Priceless for us.

Worth every penny!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The set up is incredibly easy. It was easy to replace my Linksys Router and the coverage is flawless. When my beacon broke, because I think it fell off the armoire during a carpet cleaning, Eero replaced it for free! No questions asked. Even without the beacon the coverage was amazing. (But the beacon made it even better.)

Solid product, getting even better over time
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well worth the cost. I love how cool eero looks, I love how easy it is to set up, I love that I can manage it easily from my phone, I love how much it has improved since launch and most of all I love how fast my wifi is. I've used a range of different solutions trying to get full coverage in my apartment and until now I've never been able to get decent speeds at the far end. I can even connect in the backyard!

Works just as advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have 2 devices on our main floor and one upstairs. It's been up and running for about a month and has worked perfectly. We have 100 Mbps internet and stream HD video on TVs in both levels (SlingTV, Netflix, Hulu etc). Throw in a couple phones, laptops and two iPads that the kids often use and we've never run into an issue so far. Easy to set up and it basically runs itself from there. There is a little led on each router that lights up when running, but you can set it to turn those off to make them even less obtrusive. The app is cool, but after set up I really have just used it to check out our speeds. It tests itself daily. No complaints at all thus far.

The eero WiFi system is the solution I needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me preface this by saying that I've tried a *LOT* of different products that supposedly would spread WiFi throughout my home: Netgear range extenders, repeaters, the best/fastest AC routers, and nothing worked. It seems like no matter how powerful a router/extender are they seem to fall apart when trying to use WiFi upstairs or on the other side of my home. I tried eero and honestly expected it to be the same story (just pricier), and I'm sold. This is the device that I didn't know I needed and it completely solved my WiFi problems in one, fell swoop. Setup took about 10 minutes (mostly spent walking through my home to setup the 3 devices); and it was easy and almost delightful. I used the same SSID and password as my old network and everything switched over. Now we get great WiFi speeds in the master bedroom, the home office, the living room, and the back deck! It's amazing: I feel like I can now freely move about my home with my devices without worrying about my connectivity. Plus, I'm a hero to my wife, who is ecstatic that her devices work everywhere, too! Highly recommend!

Best investment for my home
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not the most tech savvy person so whatever I buy always needs to be SUPER easy to use... and when i say easy, i mean really fool proof. And this was as easy as 1, 2, 3 and voila!! Instant wifi! Not only was it easy to install, I instantly noticed a increase in internet speed. Even at night when everyone in the family is streaming movies on their devices, so that was a double bonus!

Excellent system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried several networking wifi systems. Always looking for extenders to reach the other end of my home. Picked up Eero on advice from salesman, skeptical. Hooked up the first Eero unit and already had better signal than ever before. The App to hook up the system was VERY helpful. Had some difficulty getting the third unit working. I have never had customer service this good. Faulty unit. they recommended they send a new one to me. Gave me a name and number to call when it arrived to help set up. Didn't need the help. Worked out-of-the-box. Can't say enough good things. Outstanding product and customer service

Does exactly what it promises
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've got an oddly shaped apartment. About 20x60 with the internet connection in a closet toward the back. Highly recommended single routers never were quite able to deliver all of the speed I paid for to the front room. Eero was super easy to set up and fixed the problem immediately. I've daisy-chained the internet from the closet to the hallway to the front room, and now I'm seeing the full 100+ Mbit speeds all over. A repeater might have gotten the range but not the speed. They've also been clumsy in my experience. Cheaper but a hacky way to solve the problem. Absolutely recommended 100%.

Best money I have spent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best products I have bought. I am not a technical person. This router is so easy to set up a second grader could do it. Other reviews were complaining about setup. I can't imagine how you could ever have an issue. I took it out of the box and had all three access points set up in 10 minutes. My speed went from 18 MBS to 84 MBS immediately download went from 3 to 14. Coverage is great everywhere including outside in the yard. My son said his xbox and PS3 worked better than ever. I would buy this in a second it is worth the money.

A bit pricey but worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have spent years trying to get decent wifi coverage in my house and no matter what I did there were always plenty of dead spots not to mention regular issues especially with the wifi extenders. I have a 9000sq foot brick home with a break chimney separating a few rooms from the rest of the house. I have spent a lot of money over the years upgrading wifi hoping for the best and they have always fallen short. The eero rep promised me this would be different she explained based on my house I would need 5 to 6 of their routers (definitely a bit of sticker shock). I went a head and bought 2 - 3 packs got home and decided to try just using 3. set up was easy but with 3 I had coverage but single was weak in areas and throughput was not great. So I broke down and opened the second pack. I distributed them so that I had 2 on each floor making sure to have one behind the chimney. Then I started walking around the house with an internet speedtester on my phone. I have FIOS with 75 mbs up and down. walking around the house the slowest speed I got was about 59mbs and that was in the back of a storage room in the for corner of my basement. These things are amazing. The first night my wife tried to download something on her kindle in our room which never had great coverage and she was like what did you do to the wifi it is so fast. I think that is one of the first truly positive comments she has ever made about the wifi in our house (thank you eeros). I hope at some point in the future they add outdoor routers as I have a rather large yard and like more coverage out there otherwise I could not be happier. As a side note it has a link to Amazon Alexa so I can ask where any of my registered devices are. Does not give precise location but I know if it is in the house and roughly where to look which is a nice feature. In summary if you are having wifi coverage issues in a house give these a try as they work great but make sure to use enough to get the full benefit.

WiFi game changer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system is super easy to set up which was great. It also really does help spread wifi - I used to not be able to Chromecast in my bedroom as the old router was in the living room. Now I can Chromecast with no buffering. Would highly recommend!!!

No more buffering!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My apartment is smaller, so I got the one pack for me and the 3 pack for my parents, who have a 2 story house. For my 1 pack: It turns out the router was the reason why my netflix was not loading well. Compared to my previous netgear router, my internet download and upload speed directly next to the router the router has increased by 2.5X and further from the router has increased by 5X. Buffering during watching netflix is gone! For my parents 3 pack: They had two networks set up with different names an access points in the house, because they had not figured out how to combine the networks. Combining into 1 networks allowed them to have a much better experience by not having to disconnect and reconnect to WIFI when switching rooms. They also now have strong internet at the front of their house, so they can control Sonos now.

Best Wi-Fi System Ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried every Linksys Router and extender, but always had to disconnect or i have to reboot it. Install eero in a matter of minutes. Connected to my fios modem and setup with the eero app. Done. The nice thing i don't have too change router default IP address. It automatically use DHCP from fios modem. Have one connected to modem and one downstairs and my house as 100 download and 100 upload even from my wi-fi. Great product.

Awesome WiFi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I love the WiFi strength and range, however, the set up was not as easy as the instructions claim. When I tried the set up per the instructions, the hubs would not connect. The app kept saying out of range when I had hubs right next to each other. So I had to hard wire each hub separately, and remember and mark the first one I set up because that one has to be hard wired to modem. Once hardwired, I had to register each one, then place them where I wanted. I had one upstairs and 2 downstairs. My house is 1600 square feet. It took about 15 minutes for each hub to connect. Now that they are set up, I pay for 300mbps, and I get about 300 upstairs and 180 downstairs. So far very happy with the performance once I got past setup.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely easy to setup. It took about 5 minutes. My wifi speed increased after installation my it. I bought the two pack and it covers my one story house and detached rear garage at 50- 70 MBps which is what I pay for. It really does provide uniform wifi everywhere with no drop in performance as opposed to my old wifi extender.

Simple, reliable, and helped me get WiFi upstairs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router system after trying a bunch of extenders so that I could get fast WiFi upstairs: where my home office and master bedroom are. I was worried that my wife would divorce me because I couldn't seem to get Netflix to work in our bedroom...but then I bought eero and the speeds we were getting downstairs are now everywhere in our home. It's easy to set up and I highly recommend!
