For some reason the app will only show my upload speed in the 50’s, yet hardwired I show symmetrical gig speeds. WiFi also shows gig down but I usually get 300-400’s upload. Latency is also worse on the 7. When switch back to the 6e there are no issues. Im about three months in with Eero support and no resolution.

As with other eero devices it's backwards compatible with other eero devices

Not sure if it’s a placebo effect or not, but it appears to support the full network better with only replacing the primary gateway.

We had the Eero WiFi 6 Pro before and it too was great, but this is just incredible. We're getting Gig+ speeds on wifi, and we're thankful for the extra (FINALLY) ethernet ports on the back. This is truly worth every single cent and we are so happy to have it!

Posted .Hi AlexT. Thank you for your feedback on the eero Max 7. I'm sorry to hear about your range concerns. Each eero Max 7 router provides coverage up to 2,500 sq. ft. Depending on the layout of your home and the materials used in its construction, more eeros could be needed. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
