Nice Router

It has issues with 1.1.1.1 dns and causes the internet to be slow and unreliable. The WiFi is fast when working but some of the parental controls that were free on my old router require a subscription to use.

Network jitter is typically caused by wireless interference or network congestion rather than router hardware alone. For activities requiring consistent low latency, a hardwired Ethernet connection will always provide the most stable performance with minimal jitter, which is why hardwiring is recommended for gaming and real-time applications. The eero Max 7 includes multiple Ethernet ports for this purpose. I appreciate you sharing your experience!
Great wifi 7 speeds!

I love the fact that it has all the different wifi bands, and that the Eero makes one single SSID to connect, letting it pick the best band for your device. Wireless backhaul is fantastic!

Well i get to the 7 Pro Max and guess what. Same thing. This was very laggy. Ended up going and getting the TP-Link BE 11000. It was on sale for $499 but Best Buy matched the $399 from Amazon and for 33% of the cost od the Eero the Tp-Link was blazing fast. No mare lag or buffering. Ended up returning the Eero and Keeping the TP link.

I have two max 7 and a 7 pro. Easy setup, but unfortunately I keep getting wifi disconnects. No suggested fuxes are working. Its not the provider, just the device. Looking online, its a common problem people are complaining about. Dont buy this until Amazon Eero gets this straightened out.

Posted .Hi NYSTrooper. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience with the eero Max 7. I'm sorry to hear that you've been having connection issues. I understand how frustrating WiFi disconnects can be. Soft resetting your gateway eero (the one connected to your modem) can be a useful troubleshooting step. To soft reset your eero: Hold the reset button until its LED flashes yellow (approximately 7 seconds). Once it flashes yellow, release it. As the eero boots up, the LED will flash white, then blue, and then return to solid white. Once the LED is solid white, you should be able to see your eero is back online in the eero app. If you still experience connection drops, take note of the time of the drop and reach out to customer service so that they can troubleshoot further. They can be reached at (877) 659-2347. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

I will buy this in a year when Eero has rolled new updates

That was a total waste of money. The other system seem to go off line all the time. Eero has been on since I installed it, except for when we lost power.

Upgraded to this system after upgrading my home internet speeds.
