You can use your Amazon Account to log into the eero app, but it is not required. Instead, you can create an eero account using your phone number and email address. You'll receive a verification code via text or email. Once you’ve entered the verification code into the app, your eero account will be created and you can complete the setup process. After setup eero will optimize to learn what kind of interference you have around your home and learn to tune it out as best it can. Verify that your gateway eero is connected directly to your modem using a high-quality Ethernet cable (Cat 6 or higher is recommended for multi-gig speeds) 2. Ensure your modem supports 2 Gig speeds and is properly provisioned by your Internet Service Provider 3. Check that your devices testing the speed have network adapters capable of handling 2 gig speeds. 4. Test speeds using a device connected via Ethernet directly to the gateway eero to eliminate WiFi variables. 5. Restart your entire network: unplug your modem and all eero units, wait 30 seconds, plug in the modem first, wait for it to fully boot, then plug in your gateway eero, followed by any additional eeros.
