If you are still within Best Buy's return window, I would encourage you to return the eero Outdoor 7 for a full refund, as it is not the right fit for your specific needs without the additional eero router investment.

For your current setup with the Blink camera, as long as the Netgear extender is providing a stable 2.4 GHz connection with sufficient signal strength, your camera should perform reliably. The optimal installation height for the eero Outdoor 7 is 6-15 feet above the ground. This ensures proper clearance for the WiFi signal to reach the furthest range. Avoid obstructions, such as large trees, grills, satellite dishes, etc. If your eero is placed high and away from obstructions, but still isn’t sending enough signal to your property, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347 so they can troubleshoot further. It sounds like the eero Plus security is conflicting with your Norton. To troubleshoot this, you should turn off the advanced security features from eero Plus. To do this you’ll need to do the following: 1. Open the eero app. 2. Scroll to the Security & Privacy section 3. Tap the Advanced Security option. 4. Tap on Network controls 5. Toggle off the Advanced Security option. 6. Try to recreate the actions that caused the Norton attacker messages.
