Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Pro 6 AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router's ease of use, impressive Wi-Fi coverage, and strong performance. Many appreciate the straightforward setup and extended range, resulting in a significantly improved home Wi-Fi experience. However, some users find the price to be high and note that the device can get warm during operation. A few also mention a limited number of Ethernet ports as a drawback.

Needed to add an extra eero to our system. This has worked great for us. Love how i can see whose using wifi and when, that i can block the device from using wifi which is great when you have kids who stream video games.

Limited options if you have ISP wifi router..

I had high expectations that this would be an easy set up but if you have a router provided by your ISP you will run into big problems that will likely eliminate any upside of this product and degrade things. You have to be able to disable your router/wifi I learned with the helpful customer tech support. As ISP seldom will permit that you could make it into bridge mode and basically lose any benefits of having the mesh system while your original router does the heavy lifting. The other option is to broadcast from both and re-configure every device you have to take the AERO Networkd/SSID and password- major pain and you can still have interference issues since both broadcasting though different network names. Given all the roadblocks, I am returning the units given the cost of this. Be forewarn if you are using your ISP's equipment. Of course you can buy your own- toss another few hundred into the cost of the system. I'll try a simple range extender in a few spots.

Took a while to configure it with AT&T 2WIRE Pace Router - kept getting router behind router error but found wonderful help on the internet and resolved the issue. Works well now and more secure than my old router.

Was time to replace my old linksys router and the eero pro 6 has been a great upgrade. Easy to install and my network was up and much more reliable. The 2 pack will be a good buy for a medium sized home.

Very easy to set up. It has been 6 months now and they are still working fine. No interruptions in the connection, but just need to make sure the eero software (app) is always kept up to date.

After instillation I realized that it was entirely unnecessary for me to purchase this plan, especially for the cost. It caused a tremendous amount of trouble with the rest of my devices dependent on WiFi, and the service man was in such a hurry to leave that he didn't even mention that fact.

Wonderful product! I would have given 5 stars, but it was not strong enough for what we needed it to do. We have a very long driveway and needed to connect our gate. It took two of the bases instead of just one. But it works great. Just wish it was stronger

    Buy any mesh except Eero!

Absolute garbage. I bought these to upgrade from a previous mesh system, and all I got for it was regret. This system is slower than my previous system that's about 2 years old, and no it's not supposed to be. My biggest gripe is that these disconnect constantly. My internet will be up and running fine, and this Eero product will just decide it doesn't want to be connected to the internet anymore. Maybe for 10 minutes, maybe for 10 hours, you don't know and you have no control over it. After digging deep apparently this is a known issue with these, but I guess they refuse to fix the problem. Stay far away from this mesh system, it is the worst one I have tried by far.

This got returned since our older home with thick plaster and brick walls just couldn’t be beat with this mesh router set. The set-up is easy, but lack some feature of more robust routers with more elegant parental controls.

Lightening quick routers! I have fiber with Ethernet speeds of 960mbs, and over 800mbs via WiFi connection through these eero routers. No complaints so far. Two routers covers out 2,500sqft house easily.

Everyone raves about this device, which I bought because of it's claimed superior coverage. But in my house it was no better and even worse than the Google Mesh it was to replace, struggling to connect across 30 feet. Maybe I had a bad one. Maybe it's my house. No one seemed to know. So I returned it.

Wow, so love this product. Used to have wifi issues but no more. Great app allows you to create profiles for different devices and label them so you know what they are. Highly recommended.

Less than 1 year old and one of the two units will not connect. White light flashes and then goes solid red after a few minutes. If an update is required, the units will not work until you agree to the update. Product must have subscriptions if you want full use out of the product. Your bestbuy man who just answered the phone in Victorville California just told me this product fails all the time (20230503 18:43PST). This product fails so Best Buy fails for continuing to sell this product. Complete failure of this product line. I will never buy again and will tell all how much of a miserable product this is.

    Embarrassingly Bad

Perhaps the worst electronics purchase ever. Initial set-up was fast and easy, with strong signal everywhere. But within four days, one of the three devices went bad, disconnected and could not be reconnected. It could not even be reset to factory status. It could not be communicated with at all. Surprisingly for an Amazon entity, tech support hours were limited and therefore inaccessible when I could focus on trouble shooting. Then the second device also started losing connectivity, even though in close proximity in a 1500 square foot house. Generally poor build quality, horribly unreliable and poorly supported. Returned and went back to OG Google WiFi. Which may be slower but at least works!

If you have gigabit speed, this will not be any faster than the old eero Pro 2nd generation. Installed, and actually slower. After awhile it sped up some, but only by 50mbps. Not worth it at all, returned, installed old ones, work just fine.
