Customers are delighted by the Pro 6 AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router's ease of use, impressive Wi-Fi coverage, and strong performance. Many appreciate the straightforward setup and extended range, resulting in a significantly improved home Wi-Fi experience. 2 story, 5000sqf and not a dead spot in site and my speeds are amazing. Upgraded from Google Wifi. Expensive but worth every penny.

I don't normally review items but I feel this needed it since this was there top of the line Pro 6 $600 router that's missing basic features and has series flaws. Pros Its very easy to setup. Basic click next install and setup. There's no need to link to Amazon unless you are using amazon connected home devices. Wifi was stable across 2.4 & 5 bands even though there is no ability to know what channels the device is using. Band Steering seemed to function correctly Cons (Older versions have the following) Missing SQM - NO ETA Missing Homekit support - No ETA - Been in works for a long time FORCED UPDATES causes problems. (6.3.0) - Caused DNS problems across network, Had to contact support to rollback seeing how that functionality is missing for the customer only to have it force update again at night. Initial setup has UPNP on Secure (Not Secure +) has to be purchased - comes free with most routers - its DNS filtering. DNS issues completely messed up guest network. Was being sent to your isp, google, opendns, cloudflare, ect. You won't know you have a problem unless you check. When contacting support via phone they do answer but then you waste your time talking to someone who most likely cant setup there own router while he is on a text chat with actual support. So you have to constantly explain it twice. If you opt to use email it could take 3-5 days for a response. When contacting support they have access to your full network. Anything you can change they can change and more and since its completely cloud based meaning that if your internet goes down you have no access to your router this could be seen as a security concern especially with amazon. You can't change the DNS for your guest network it is supposed to only go through your isp even though there is issues with the latest firmware that eero support knows about and is also listed in forums on the web. eero secure doesn't work on guest network devices so if you have family or Iot devices that you put on the guest network they won't be protected unless they are allowed access to main network. (BASIC ROUTER STUFF) Port scans show multiple closed ports when they should not even be responding to scans. Bottom line is needs more improving/Updating. I spent more time on the phone with support than I have with any other router manufacturer that I have owned since all the ability to troubleshoot is taken out of your hands as the customer. This router is made for basic users that don't know better or even how to check to see if its working correctly after updates.

Expensive, not getting expected wi-fi speeds

I recently switched to 1gb fiber optics and had to purchase this because my previous eero mesh system couldn't handle the speed increase. It's supposed to get 1gb wi-fi speeds and I can't get that even when I'm next to the pod that is connected directly into the modem. It's better than it was, just not the speeds advertised on the box. The pods are rather expensive for what you get. I will say that they are easy to set up, I just wish I was getting faster speeds.

had some difficulty setting up with my router and had to call Eero customer service. It was an easy install after that. Customer support was excellent. Product works very well and has eliminated all of the dead spots in our 3600 +/- home and extends outside well beyond the range of our old router.

I'm impressed with these units - was using older WiFi5 mesh system but only getting 80-90 mbps at far ends of house with gigabit feed from ISP. These installed w/o issue and now realizing 800-900 mbps. Also like the fact that each unit has RJ45 ethernet port so able to cable things that need that.

The eero Pro 5 Mesh Wi-Fi system is an exceptional performer. It is fast. We chose to install the 3 routers via wired connections. In this configuration, the router provides 1 Gbps LAN speeds, the maximum speed available from the 1 Gbps switches used in the LAN. Upload and download speeds also run at or above the speed limit guaranteed by our service provider. Wireless performance with fast wireless devices is always close to the wired upload/download speed.

Easy set-up, simple app, limited programing capabilities for changing ISP address ranges. For small home with basic wireless requirements it works fine, but at an expensive price tag.

WOW! What a difference this made in my home's wifi! We had the original Google WiFi. Our speed from Spectrum is 400 minimum (usually get about 450). The BEST speed I could get on the old Google was about 100 anywhere in the house. With Eero? In excess of 400 practically everywhere in the house! Plus, we had 6 Google pods... only need the 3 Eero! Should have bought these sooner!

The the three pack really extended our Wi-Fi. Movies in the backyard are a must. For reference we have between 80-115 devices on our Wi-Fi at any time. Our lot is 9500 sq feet. I think it covers a good 6500 sq feet full strength. When I go to the neighbors house my wife still works, just not as well. And no I don’t let the neighbors use our Wi-Fi, it’s just a smart home.
