I have had eero since their introduction many years ago and have equipped multiple houses with them because the are so easy to set up via the app and blanket any house with a reliable WiFi signal. This purchase was for a new home where we had 2 Gigs to the home and wanted to supply that speed, or at least a big portion of that through the house. Once again it is simple to set up and with the purchase by Amazon you can take advantage of their log in and security. The pro are slightly bigger than the regular eero but are still well designed and compact. If you are looking to spread a WiFi signal simply and easily, go with eero.

Good overall coverage - good features .I wish they would add the ability to force select and save which devices you prefer to connect to 2.4 vs 5ghz. I have found 5ghz coverage is awesome , but overall 2.4g coverage on our 1 acre lot is less than my old nighthawk 6700. External antennas are probably the reason. If I could return it I’d might look more at the net gear orbi as that has WiFi aggregation. I can get 750mbps to my ip13 if I’m in the same room (1 gig fiber service ) and in most areas of the house 300-500 when you are outside of a room which contains the router. Overall is pretty stable , I have had to reset it a couple times to reconnect some 2.4g smart light bulbs. If long distance 2.4g is still important to you , look elsewhere . If 5ghz is what you’re boosting over your whole house , this works great.

    Intermittent connection loss

I bought three pack at MSRP. Overall installation and setup was a breeze. Eero secure adds more value with the ad block and advanced security features. The signal strength is very good compared to my previous Netgear router which struggled to cover my 6000 sq.ft property. Now I have good signal strength from my driveway to the whole backyard. My only gripe with the product is it loses connection almost once everyday. I had to hard reboot the router when it happens. Its not my ISP because I have wired connections to my ISP router which works just fine. I really hope Eero to fix this with a software update soon.

Super easy setup, simple management, good signal strength. My only complaint is there is no way to pull logging of blocked URLs. It tells you which device or user was blocked but not what caused the block. If they could give better logging I would give it a 5.

I upgraded from traditional routers, had two of them, and they were out dates. This mesh network has been fantastic. Strategically placed these three units and I now have coverage that is strong in the entirety of a 2100sqft house, garage, basement, and nearly the entirety of my half acre property. WiFi cameras work perfectly. Never had any hiccups with this unit during the first couple weeks of use. You can use your portable devices and it automatically connects to the different nodes and bandwidths without any notice on our end. I’m satisfied with this network. I’d do it the same again.

Was having ‘dead spots’ in our large home and slow downloads at other times. Seems corrected now with this system. Pretty easy setup for the system itself. Took longer to pair devices, but that was because I took the time to change to a stronger password. If you keep the old one, it is supposed to be much quicker. Even with the password change, and acknowledging I don’t even like dealing with networking issues, and pairing about 20 devices with new passwords, it took about an hour, total.

    Eeros Overcomes Overwhelming Obstacles

The Eeros system solved our difficult internet service problems. 1. The Eeros serves as a router and is superior to the router we had from our provider. This means our hard wired computers work with more bandwidth and speed. 2. The 2 additional Eeros link the entire length of our apartment with a Wifi connection that's faster than the Ethernet connection we received pre-Eeros. 3. All of the above is accomplished despite a truly unfortunate location of the modem/router connection. The line enters our apartment and terminates in a closet girdled on three sides by wire mesh lathe. This is the opposite of optimal.

I have two systems. One the previous "Pro", and this one with the Pro-6. Both are fantastic! High quality, long lasting, fast speed for an extender and effectively sends your wi-fi signal through concrete walls and floors. Just ensure you have a good Surge Protector for each unit. In Mexico, where power is not well regulated, I lost one due to a Mexico power surge. Since adding high quality surge protectors - no issues in years.

I am out in the country and limited to about 30 Mbps. Where my Fire Cube was located. about 40 ft away and through three walls it dropped down to around 15Mbps. With the eero I can get about 27-28 Mbps to the Fire Cube, Terrific! I, admittedly, am totally ignorant on computer tech, so I opted for Geek Squad installation. Best decision ever. In about 30 minutes or so, everything was set up and working great. I MAY have been able to set it up by myself but would have taken me hours Highly recommend the eero and Geek Squad!

I was having trouble getting good wifi coverage throughout my home in spite of having several extenders. I purchased a 3 pack eero Pro 6 AX4200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System & my son installed them to run with my Frontier Fios system. We contacted Frontier & got a few tips to get it up & running. Once we had it set up, my upload & download speeds are fantastic at any location in this 4500 sq.ft. house. This purchase is worth every penny & solved all my streaming issues.

I was really surprised at the range these routers covered. We purchased them to cover various buildings at work and they even cover the areas between buildings. The allow us to use all available bandwidth with no discernable difference between wired/wireless usage. We did connect them via ethernet so I cannot comment on how well the 3rd band improves the mesh system. I would guess that most people do not need to purchase the pro model over the standard model. The square footage needed to make use of it is quite large, it is a good system.
