Setup and speed are very good and consistent. The app does let you do as much as a webUI, but it is functional. Had I researched a bit more and found that tidbit, probably would have gone with the Orbi version.

I was used to Comcast Internet. When we moved into our new house, only AT&T fiber was available. The connection was in the basement, and we have three total stories. I was very disappointed with our Wi-Fi system with the standard AT&T modem and router. I bought a cheaper extender, and it was next to useless. So I decided to get this shot. I’m really glad I did. It took about 15 minutes to install. I don’t have any more dead spots in my house including the upstairs bedrooms and even the attic. It’s well worth the money!

Upgrade from a TP Link Deck M5 mesh system and wow is there a huge difference. We currently pay for 800 mb speeds with xfinity, and with the old setup we could maybe pull 300mb over wifi close to the router, and maybe 100mb by an access point (2 of them). Now with the eero pro 6 router and 0 access points we are pulling 600mb close to the router and 350-600mb when far away from it. As with any wifi system your house construction plays a huge role in how it will perform. We have a 1200 sq ft home from the 1960s with a very simple layout.

So far so good the eero is very strong and provides a 5hz signal good up to 30-40ft. I have eero hard wired thru cat6 to the router. I bridged it to my Comcast router works great. The app is ok for some reason it wouldn’t work when setting up my eero so I closed the app and re started the process. Besides that it does the job I need. I currently have gigabit internet and there’s no drop in strength. The only downside and you will see this everywhere is the little thing reaches burning hot temperatures on the bottom of it. On top it’s hot. I doubt it’s a fire hazard but yeah it gets hot and has no ventilation.

Easy to setup with a fair amount of advanced network configurations. Access point hopping works seamlessly. It’s critical that I maintain a constant connection while working from home. They do a great job providing a consistent connection regardless of which room I walk into when I’m on a virtual call.

I’ve had numerous routers over the years with my last router being the Asus RT-AX88U. Got these for free so i thought I’d hook them up to see what the fuss was all about. My Asus box now sits in my closet collecting dust. Speeds on these routers are crazy fast. My iPhone has speeds in the 800 Mbps range on a regular basis, and I even hit 400 Mbps on my patio. The best things about this device is it “just works”

Hardware is great! Software is ok so far. It's a trend nowadays to release a product and keep adding features later. It's missing a lot of features that I can't live without. For example, I want packet priority for gaming and streaming. It is in the works, but currently doesn't exist on the Eero 6. I also still cannot seem to register my gmail email account with it. It claims that my code or my email is not valid. Basic things that should be working, and i'm not the only one that has this issue, and it's been months without a fix. Other that than. the wifi speeds are pretty darn quick. I have been able to get up to around 700mbps which makes me very happy! Here's to hoping for better software in the near future. For $600, I find that hard to stomach for what it currently offers.

They work great, customer service from eero helped me set them up. Only problem is I packed them up to move and two of the power cords got damaged just by wrapping them up the way they were and now they don’t work.

Upgrading from Apple AirPort Extreme to this has been great. I have 5 ring cameras that were always slow or won't connect to broadcast live feed. With the Eero Pro 6, I don't have those problems anymore. Going live feed is almost instant. Watching YouTube in my backyard use to hang/slow, now there are non of those issues anymore. Very happy with Eero Pro 6 and would highly recommend. I would recommend a wired backhaul to connect the Eero's if possible.

My old Linksys mesh system, that I had for about 2 years, seemed to be dying on me so I decided upgrade to the Eero Pro 6 and future-proof my network. I noticed a HUGE difference in my wired and WiFi speeds. I have Centurylink's gigabit service and via ethernet, I'm getting 850-950 Mbps. Via WiFi, I'm getting 500-800 Mbps. Excellent! Now, the set up. It wasn't seamless for me. I do not have a modem, and am only utilizing the fiber ONT. I unplugged that connection from my Linksys, right into the Eero. Nothing. No Internet connection. After troubleshooting on the phone with Eero support, I had to plug my Linksys back in to the ONT, get an Internet connection again, then plug the Eero into the Linksys. I then had to complete the Eero set up that way. Once the parent Eero established an Internet connection, I then connected the other 2 Eeros. (It was advised to get the child Eero devices connected with them in the same room as the parent.) After they were up and running, I then moved them to the spots in my home where I needed them to be. All this took a few hours, so I decided to just leave it alone for a while. The following day, I took a deep breath and plugged my ONT connection directly into the Eero... removing the Linksys from the equation. It took a couple minutes, and a reboot, but the Eero system was successfully establishing an Internet connection on its own. Whew! Mind you... I have 12 year olds at home that are doing online school and gaming. I was under A LOT of pressure here. Now for the next hiccup. Eero seems to be a great system for your basic smart home set up. However, if you have a need for static IPs and port forwarding, you might want to find a different mesh system. I have a hard-wired security camera system that requires a static IP address and port forwarding in order to be able to view the cameras outside our network. I had a technician at my home for 5 hours, on the phone with Eero support, trying to get the camera system connected. First off, Eero configuration is 100% app-based. There is no web interface, at all. The tech was inputting the settings that Eero support was suggesting and the app would NOT save the settings. He tried several times. Eero support was trying what they could on their end. Nothing was working. (Keep in mind, the camera system was working perfectly before switching to the Eero system.) Finally, the Eero support rep said that there was something wrong with the camera system and that there was nothing else they could do. Like I said, after 5 hours (at $85/hour) the tech guy at my home finally got the cameras working. I'm not sure what he did, but he said he had to create a work-around. I don't fault Eero tech support; he gave it a good try. There are just some limitations with Eero. I just wish it didn't cost me an extra $400 to figure this out. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that it took me about 1 week to get everything on my network up and running again, I would seriously consider returning the Eero and getting a different mesh system. It's working and the speeds are excellent. If you're in the market for a new mesh system, and you know you will need to set up some static IP addresses with port forwarding, look at a different system.
