Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Pro 6 AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router's ease of use, impressive Wi-Fi coverage, and strong performance. Many appreciate the straightforward setup and extended range, resulting in a significantly improved home Wi-Fi experience. However, some users find the price to be high and note that the device can get warm during operation. A few also mention a limited number of Ethernet ports as a drawback.

I have a four floors and this gives me the Wi-Fi I need on each level. Also like the way I can see what is connected to my Wi-Fi and can kick them off.

I am very happy with the service that this system is providing. I have a lot of things being serviced off of this system and it is not letting me down.

Excellent Solution to "Envelop the House"

I was having a lot of problems with the repeaters I installed myself, which turned out to be a less than ideal solution for my 4-story townhouse. A lot of Zoom calls were getting dropped in the middle of things and I got frequent "your internet connection is unstable" messages. The Geek Squad recommended, and ultimately installed, the Eero Pro 6. It's expensive, but it works like a dream. The technician promised that the set would "envelop the house" in a wi-fi bubble, and that's exactly what's happened. Couldn't be happier.

Getting great coverage around my apartment. The ease of use of the eero app is a plus as well. I love how contained this unit is and it doesn't look a router.

Good router, provides very good speeds. I deducted a star because the range isn’t as good as what was advertised. I had to use 4 vs 3 but I’m impressed with the speed produced by theses routers. I’m getting 800+ Down consistently and 40+ Up

Had some issues connecting to older devices or to 2.4ghz smart home devices. But they added a legacy mode to connect to older devices and then it’ll revert back to 2.4 and 5ghz bands. It does get warm and I let it cool down after a month or two just in case. But easy to setup and works great! Get 680mbps on iPhone 12 Pro with gigabit internet.

I bought 3 of these separately instead of buying the 3 pack since no one had the 3 pack in stock. I’m using as access points and not mesh and there is nothing spectacular about them, but they work. I replaced a powerful router which I could get 750+ close by but had dead spots now I can get 350-400 throughout the house with no dead spots so I guess that’s the trade-off. I am paying for 1g fiber and with any router the only way to get that speed is by being hard wired.

So to start this off, this company is own by Amazon which we have many Alexa products and everything in the house so I was excited to get this new model. We paired this with 2 smaller Eero 6 and it just was not what I expected. It wasnt great speed by any means my Netgear Nighthawk AX8 was way faster from the same distances. This main gateway got SUPER hot, like legit burnt my finger touching it and lost connections twice in 2 nights I used it. The speed on a gig download for example was about 100 mb/s in my living room as the Nighthawk was about 300 from the exact same spot. I know a mesh is different but for the sacrifice in speed, reliability and price its not worth it.

Setup was extremely easy but the bandwidth steering is not great. When my wifi device switches over to 2.4 Ghz, the speed is really slow. You need enough of these in order to maintain 5Ghz throughout your house, which is the point of mesh.
