Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Pro 6 AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router's ease of use, impressive Wi-Fi coverage, and strong performance. Many appreciate the straightforward setup and extended range, resulting in a significantly improved home Wi-Fi experience. However, some users find the price to be high and note that the device can get warm during operation. A few also mention a limited number of Ethernet ports as a drawback.

Very easy to install using the mobile app. Went very quickly and smoothly. Once installed the signal and speed were much better then the Orbi mesh router Iwas using before.

Installed today and was staggered at the simplicity of the setup. Installed the app and it walks you through the entire process, handling most options autmatically while allowing you to choose the degree of control you want over it. In about 6 minutes, i had both routers (one connected to modem and one on a different floor acting as bridge/repeater) fully setup and running with little delay. My ping on ethernet is 9, through the primary and secondary routers the ping only jumped to 14. Thats the benefit of the triband routers. They handle router-router traffic with almost no loss of speed. The mesh works quickly and well too, i can watch my phones signal drop slightly as i reach the distance farthest between routers and see itconnect to the other router in seconds of the slight drop in reception. The app is decent enlugh and the extra features, like ad blocking all traffic are great for casting youtube tovthe smart tv. The price is high, but for a 2 pack of triband, wifi 6 routers with great ui and from a reputable brand, theyre competitive.

Just upgraded to AT&T fiber, gateway broadcast a fairly strong signal except to the other end of the house. I had already had cat 6 cable ran to to that location so im currently using the eero as a access point. It has tripled the speed to that end of the house. It is expensive but if i ever have the need to i can use as a router and add additional units as needed

I bought the Pro 6 three pack and a Pro extender during a recent sale to replace four Google Wifi and a Nest Wifi point that had been having trouble keeping up with the new bandwidth requirements of 4K video and multiple people on Zoom at the same time. Why so much mesh? We live in a 1910 house that's tall (three stories) and skinny with old, thick plaster walls, including a kitchen with metal lathe plaster and tin paneling that sits like a giant Faraday cage in the middle of the first floor just waiting to block electromagnetic waves to the small addition in the back of the house where the kids play video games. So far, I'm happy with the eero Pro 6: setup was simple using the app, and connection speeds are generally five to ten times faster throughout the house for wireless devices that support newer protocols. The eero devices (other than the extender) are all wired via Cat6 to maximize performance. I didn't face the more serious inability to connect some 2.4GHz devices that some people have reported, though I did have to manually enter my SSID into my Kasa 2.4GHz wifi switches in order for them to see the network. My Racchio irrigation controller also found the network on its own, though I know some people have reported problems with that particular device. Coverage seems generally better than with the Google devices, thus my ability to go from five points to three plus an extender. Where I previously needed a Google point in my attic to get adequate coverage for my office, the eero on the floor below now provides four or five times better speed. (No more, "You're connection is causing problems" messages from our company video conferencing system, which is nice.) I have 1GB Verizon fiber, and the eero consistently reports max download and upload speeds between 760Mbps and 900Mbps. My newer devices (like my iPhone 12) peak at about about 370Mbps over wifi, which I find more than acceptable given that I have about 60 wifi devices on the network and another dozen or so wired. The Google system was clearly struggling to keep up at times, and my upload and download speeds regularly fell into the 30-50Mbps range. One thing that seemed to help the eero (and you network managers out there probably already knew this, but I just figured it out): In a couple locations, I have the eero connected via it's second port to a gigabit switch that's handling other wired devices (such as Hue and Eufy hubs). I found that overall network performance seemed to improve if I connected the wall port to the eero , and then the eero to the switch, rather than connecting the switch to the wall port, and then attaching the eero to the switch. I'm not sure exactly why this helps, but it definitely seemed to improve overall throughput. I'll update as I get more sophisticated in how I use the eero (reconnecting my NAS as a person cloud, for instance, and as I get more firmware updates), but so far, I'm pretty pleased. Hopefully writing this review hasn't jinxed me.

Super easy to setup - replacing the existing Eero Pro Gen2 3 packs. The iPhone app does the transfer of settings, one at a time. It takes about 10 min. for all 3 to be up and running at full speed. With Wifi 6 supported MacBook Air M1 connects at 1.2Gb and iPhone 12 Pro Max at 780Mb. Wifi 6 drastically improves connectivity and speed with my Xfinity gigabit connection. The only minor issue is with the Cisco managed switch not being recognized at first with out a full power cycle. Worth the price? It's subjective but Eero is consistently the best mesh network gear for home use: super reliable and stable; very few restarts.

These are excellent! I’m new to mesh systems and tried a linksys set of 9600s and had issues with dropped connections frequently. Thank goodness for Best Buy Tech warranty which allowed me to return them. BB Team Member recommended these which cost more and I’m glad I purchased. Easy to set up and have never had issues with things connecting. I have one on each floor of the house. Set them and forget them. The APP is great too and works with Alexa. Well worth the money.

Awesome devices! We have Comcast xfinity and we pay for a gig.. Our internet was very spotting at different parts of the house and speeds going up and down. Not anymore! This eeros are great. They give u blanket coverage at home and keep the speed consistent. The lowest my speed gets is 80 to 100mbps and the highest over 800 all on wifi.. the majority of the time my speeds are 180 to 300 on my phone being furthest away from the main router.. these work great and very easy to set up. So far they are worth the price. We did catch a black Friday week sale tho so there that.. take care everyone

The eero pro 6 is a great router, with decent range and reliability. Its biggest downfall is the finnickiness of it’s whole system. The slightest change in placement, terrible updates, or power flow can detiorate your wifi speeds and connection. I recommend placing it away from walls and windows especially. Avoid any interference appliances such as microwaves, fridges, and wifi able laundry appliances.

Purchased to expand/boast my WIFI signal in my home. I get 1gig internet into my house but barely got 5% to my devices one room away. These more than doubled the speed to my devices even with being on another floor in the house. With a family of 3 doing online school and 2 parents working from home, there is a heavy demand on our bandwidth and installing the Eero Pro 6 has been life changing. No more getting the circle of death or dropped calls or limiting who is on their device at certain times. Best investment for family success during these online/remote learning times.

I just received and hooked this up. Initial results are very positive. , but very well designed setup made this really easy. Took 15 minutes to get all three set up in my rather large home. One is connected to the router by on the second floor, the other two are wireless only (1st floor and basement). I have a gigabit fios connection. Bottom line is that I now have strong wifi all over my house and it is fast enough to stream 4k with ease over multiple devices. Walking around the house with my ipad pro (the only wifi 6 device I own), it is seamlessly strong.

I have a split floor plan with a pool in the middle separating the main part of the house with a separate bedroom/office/bath. The three unit Eero Pro was ideal for my house with setup being extremely easy and provided full WiFi bars everywhere. The AP is very powerful and provides insight into every connected device with powerful software, providing a high degree of protection from malware and also eliminates unwanted ads. Capability to block any device that connects to your mesh or temporarily add a guest are definite pluses.

We had to upgrade our internet service to provide enough input for this mesh system to function properly, but that was completely worthwhile. The speed and reliability throughout our rather sprawling loft exceed our expectations and the wifi sound system we have connected to them is working perfectly.

As far as mesh wi-fi systems go, the Eero Pro 6 is one of the best. Providing coverage for all 3 floors of my house and delivering the gigabit speeds I pay for across my 50+ devices. Plus this device is Wi-Fi 6 ready, so I'm set for the future as more and more devices support the new standard. The app is also dead simple to use and understand and gives me the tools I need to monitor my network. Super easy to recommend, despite it's high price tag.

This is my 2nd Eero purchase, and I recommend the Eero Pro 6 if you are looking for a full-featured option that is easy to use. It is a major improvement over the original Eero in terms of performance. If you are a very advanced network user, Eero may frustrate you because a lot of the more technical features/capabilities are not accessible from the app in keeping with streamlining the app and ease of use goals.

The best WiFi experience, HANDS DOWN. I've used Netgear routers since I've been paying for my own internet and I must say the Eero experience is unmatched. The ease of use is unparalleled. I'm sad that I didn't get myself to purchase this sooner, as I've been contemplating it for quite some time. I have been paying for 500mbps download and I was never able to achieve that speed with my Nighthawk X6 RX8000, I'd top out at 235mbps. Now with my Eero Pro 6 I'm getting around 585mbps (Speed tests performed during the same time of day)
