Replacing my dual band router with this product increased my download speed by 5 times. Awesome

Don't buy if you want control over all settings

However, if you want control over basic functions, like choosing the IP address for the gateway, you can't. You get assigned a default address out-of-the-box with no way of changing it. You also MUST use the phone app to control settings, you cannot login to the router via your computer or using the gateway address.

Very disappointed

I had an earlier version of eero that worked incredibly well. Now I have this at my business with 1GB Comcast internet. The main eero unit always shows nearly 1GB in all speed tests. However, just 50 ft away with 2 other eero units, I have experienced speeds of less than 100MB and never more than 500MB. While my speed test on the main unit is still showing 1GB. Works very poorly in a small 1200 sq ft office.
