The Eero Pro 6 is a great upgrade from the Google Wifi mesh system. I was looking for something with Wi-Fi 6, AX capabilities, and improved speed. This delivered on all of those features and more. The setup was simple and made the transition as easy as possible. The app is very intuitive and makes managing the network a breeze. I'm also impressed with the added features of Eero Secure, especially when managing my children's devices. There were a few quirks initially, such as devices not connecting to the closest points, but after resetting the network after each setting change, that seemed to work itself out. I should mention that I purchased two of these 2-packs and the four devices work together seamlessly. I should also mention that I also tried the Netgear Orbi AX4200 before the Eero and that was completely useless for me. This is so much more stable, provides greater coverage and overall the speeds and latency are improved. I'd highly recommend this for anyone new to mesh networks or for anyone looking for an upgrade from an older system.

The eero mesh Wi-Fi system is amazing. I have a main floor and a basement with the three routers placed strategically throughout the house. The Wi-Fi system runs so much smoother and without interruption. I had been using my Apple AirPort Extreme for many years and it served its purpose, but as the number of devices started to increase I was seeing issues with Wi-Fi connection, but that is no longer an issue! Great product even though it may be a little pricey.

I’ve had numerous routers over the years with my last router being the Asus RT-AX88U. Got these for free so i thought I’d hook them up to see what the fuss was all about. My Asus box now sits in my closet collecting dust. Speeds on these routers are crazy fast. My iPhone has speeds in the 800 Mbps range on a regular basis, and I even hit 400 Mbps on my patio. The best things about this device is it “just works”

Pros-Ease of use. They are a set up and forget....up type of product. I will say that set up with my android gave me issues, but used the iPad and it went much better. -Speed. Up to a gig, you need these if you have gig speeds and want to take advantage. -Style. They look great and can blend in with any decor. -Reliability. They have frequent updates, the devices stay connected, the speeds don't "feel" like they dip. Cons -Ethernet connecitons-For a system that costs hundreds of dollars, there is only two ethernet ports on each unit. In my setup, the bridge one is next to my living room setup, and I would prefer to hardwire whenever possible. Because one port is taken by the modem, you can only hardwire one device. For this price each one should have at least 4 in my opinion. -Device's not properly migrating to different devices. I have 3 of the pro version and two of the original version. The devices in the home don't seem to connect to the closest eero device, which in some cases keeps my connection speed limited when it doesn't need to be. I know that means I don't need as many eero for my home, but I would rather use them for signal strength than not use them at all. All in all, I have used the Eero system for over a year now. The app on my phone is terrific, and gives me information about the daily, weekly, monthly usage. It also lets me know which devices are using the most data, and detail down to even what time they are active. This is great as a parent. Would highly recommend, and I know the quality is well worth what I got them for, in my opinion.

This system is pretty awesome, we upgraded to I from a ubiquiti amplify HD mesh. With the previous system we had some dead spots. I also have some IOT/smart home items that had problems with disconnecting and reconnecting on random. None of that with the new systems. Was super easy to install and cutover all my devices to, was done in less than 30 mins.

I moved into a new house and switched to these Eero Pro 6 routers. So far I've been very happy. I have a two story (plus basement) house with a total sqft of around 4000. I currently have 4 of these units, but could probably get away with using 3 if I used some better placement (I use one as a way to hardwire my Xbox). Coverage and speeds are very good, and they can handle all of my devices.

So far, this product has done what we'd hoped it would. FiOS network terminal is in basement, and its gateway router with gigabit service left dead spots on second and third floors -- especially problematic for virtual schooling and working at home. Installed this eero product in minutes and, as far as we can tell, there's strong service throughout the house. It's an expensive product, and we still have to rent the FiOS box, too. But it's a one-time investment that does what it's supposed to do.

The simplicity and ease of installation made me a skeptic. The performance and security made me a big fan. This combination covers over 3500 square feet of space flawlessly. The app on my phone tells me when new devices connect to my network and give me the option to deny or block.

I don't normally review items but I feel this needed it since this was there top of the line Pro 6 $600 router that's missing basic features and has series flaws. Pros Its very easy to setup. Basic click next install and setup. There's no need to link to Amazon unless you are using amazon connected home devices. Wifi was stable across 2.4 & 5 bands even though there is no ability to know what channels the device is using. Band Steering seemed to function correctly Cons (Older versions have the following) Missing SQM - NO ETA Missing Homekit support - No ETA - Been in works for a long time FORCED UPDATES causes problems. (6.3.0) - Caused DNS problems across network, Had to contact support to rollback seeing how that functionality is missing for the customer only to have it force update again at night. Initial setup has UPNP on Secure (Not Secure +) has to be purchased - comes free with most routers - its DNS filtering. DNS issues completely messed up guest network. Was being sent to your isp, google, opendns, cloudflare, ect. You won't know you have a problem unless you check. When contacting support via phone they do answer but then you waste your time talking to someone who most likely cant setup there own router while he is on a text chat with actual support. So you have to constantly explain it twice. If you opt to use email it could take 3-5 days for a response. When contacting support they have access to your full network. Anything you can change they can change and more and since its completely cloud based meaning that if your internet goes down you have no access to your router this could be seen as a security concern especially with amazon. You can't change the DNS for your guest network it is supposed to only go through your isp even though there is issues with the latest firmware that eero support knows about and is also listed in forums on the web. eero secure doesn't work on guest network devices so if you have family or Iot devices that you put on the guest network they won't be protected unless they are allowed access to main network. (BASIC ROUTER STUFF) Port scans show multiple closed ports when they should not even be responding to scans. Bottom line is needs more improving/Updating. I spent more time on the phone with support than I have with any other router manufacturer that I have owned since all the ability to troubleshoot is taken out of your hands as the customer. This router is made for basic users that don't know better or even how to check to see if its working correctly after updates.
