It seems to work well but on occasion I still get a notice the internet is out. I don't know if it's the fault of the eero or Frontier.

I've always thought I did well in researching a product before purchase but I feel completely misled as to the reliability of these devices. Most of my excitement came from the fact that these can repeat Ziggbe protocol for my smart devices but the range of each router is lacking and client steering is garbage on this mesh system. Devices either don't stay connected, connect to a farther router than needed, or failed to connect when moving about the house with portable devices. These devices support other neat features but can only be unlocked through subscription services. That leads me to believe that performance is hampered in the hopes that subscriptions are purchased for the router products work as advertised. Wishing I had bought the Netgear products. Additionally, router setup requires internet access as there is no way to access the router locally so during configuration I had to hard reset the devices for each error I made just so that it could connect to the internet under the default settings for further setup. Not being able to access your router through a browser by directly keying in the IP address makes set up more difficult than it needs to be if you are doing custom routing.

After numerous complaints to Frontier about their archaic ARRIS modem (connected to 3 tp-links) a tech suggested these eeros. What a joke! They are totally worthless and deliver about 60-70% of the speed I was getting the tp-links. Also the internet freezes some times. They are very expensive too. How can so many people here like them,.... I just do not understand. Are the reviews fake??

A wifi 6E pro router that has room for wired improvement. WPA3 security is in beta.
