Customers are saying

Customers admire the Pro 6E Tri-band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System (2-pack) for its ease of use and impressive speed, with many noting its strong Wi-Fi coverage and overall performance. The setup process is generally considered straightforward, and the range and signal strength are also appreciated. While some find the system to be a bit expensive and having slightly less features, very few experience lag when streaming or gaming.

This router replaced an older Netgear and seems to be working very well. It was recommended by a consultant and was easy to install and set up.

Very happy with performance of this mesh setup. Definitely had my hesitation since it’s now owned by Amazon, always worried that somehow my amazon account and ads would now be targeted when online browsing. That hasn’t been the case. The setup and interface is super user friendly.

    Great app, slow internet

I replaced a 3+ year old mesh wifi network from another brand that started to have issues and decided to give eero a try for the first time. First impressions were great, primarily due to the app which was designed well and easy to use and get the system setup. Ran a few speed tests and everything looked good. The issues began when I actually started putting it to work, I noticed a huge slowdown in my home office/work computer where a node is located (same spot as my old setup). Every web page I tried to open would take 30 to 60 seconds to load and sometimes just would keep spinning. Never an issue before as I have 1gb internet speed. After two days working under these conditions and trying to trouble shoot I returned them and bought an updated version of the brand I previously used. Once I set up the other brand mesh, same locations for all nodes, my work computer loaded web pages instantly. I'm not sure if my unit was defective, a software issue or just the implementation of their technology but these were really slow and should not be considered if you work from home. Note, the new mesh system I bought to replace this one is also rated aX5400.

This mesh system is okay as a basic mesh system. Setup was extremely easy. I feel the eero maybe suitable for homes with basic needs, however with a family and several devices I find the network very inconsistent. There is no way to control what devices go to 5ghz and 2.4ghz, and internet security is not free on the eero. Overall product is not bad, but it is not for my family.

Absolutely great. Our Ring Alarm Pro router - also an Eero router - was losing connection and needed to be replaced by a new primary Eero router FAST because our TV is internet based and the Super Bowl party was starting. This one is substantially faster. Easy to install.

This might be a fine router if you don’t need to connect an Apple device or need to use WiFi calling on your cell phone. Or connect a computer. Or a Roku. My iPhone will connect to the router, and have blazing fast internet for about five minutes before I get a message that I’m not connected to the internet, would I like to switch to cellular data. All the while I still have a strong signal from the router. I have a very weak cell signal in my neighborhood, which is why I need WiFi calling in the first place. I can turn off Wi-Fi, then turn it back on, and it works great for another five minutes. I’ve spent countless hours on various forums, trying to find an answer, and tried every nonsense suggestion that Eero support has thrown out in the online forums. I contacted them directly once, and nothing they did made any improvement, but a week later I discovered that they had left a back door open to “monitor” my network. The unending nonstop problems are ridiculous for a router costing as much as this. I’m going to throw these out and buy a simple, cheap Asus.

Hi DAE20, thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience with the eero Pro 6E system. I am sorry to hear about the connectivity issues you’ve been having. Here are some tips that may remedy your issue: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If your eero signal is showing as strong on your devices, you’ll want to go into your device setting and turn Wi-Fi Calling off and then on again. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day! AmazonDevices

Still not installed, I have to do it and I am not a Geek. Searching for manual on line, does not come up for eero Prob 6E Router. Every one says open app, looks like on cell phone, when to app store on cell, no app for this item found. Does it go under another name?? Spent over 1 hour trying to find clear non geek directions with no luck. Please help this non geek to obtain assistance.
