Unfortunately, it was not a fit for us. Once we connected the device, our Internet was out. We follow the steps and repeated them nearly 10 times.

Posted .Hi Ingram. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience with the eero Pro 6E system. If you were plugging your gateway eero into an existing modem router combo/gateway, you may need to place that device into bridge mode to get it to work with the eero system. By putting your modem router combo/gateway device into bridge mode, you are essentially turning off its WiFi capabilities and passing its Internet connection through to your eero. Your ISP should be able to provide you with instructions for putting your modem router combo/gateway device in bridge mode. If you were plugging your gateway eero into a modem only device, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347 so they can troubleshoot further. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. If you have an existing router, you can name the Eero the same name and password as your old router so your things like Alexa and Ring products are recognized and reconnected immediately.

Download speeds also increased by 50% or so. My only concern is that the package doesn't have any instructions for installation other than a link. The install link was good and the internal links to special issues was helpful. However, being an old guy, I prefer paper as an alternative.

The mesh functionality could use some work, probably my only complaint. Devices will sometimes hang onto the wrong router depending on where you’re located!

Set-up was through the Eero app. It is paired with an Eero extender and covers 1800 sq. ft. house with no issue. The signal is good on the exterior as well on a 6000 sq. ft lot. There are currently 27 devices connected.

Fairly easy install. I did have to call support once for some clarification, but that was a quick call too. One "pod" in my office, and one in the kitchen easily covers the house, and can get coverage into the backyard too.
