Good for year then not so much

After about a year I would have to start rebooting more and more or else it would start loosing speed. Today, after about a year and a half, I’m having to reboot it like 3 or 4 times a day now.

Performance degradation requiring frequent reboots can stem from several factors. Here are comprehensive troubleshooting steps to help resolve these issues: 1. Ensure your eero app is updated to the latest version, as this can affect system performance and stability. 2. Check for any firmware updates in the eero app. While updates install automatically, ensuring you're on the latest version can resolve known bugs. 3. Perform a soft reset by unplugging all eero units, waiting 30 seconds, then plugging in the gateway eero first (the one connected to your modem). Wait for it to fully boot (solid white light), then plug in the additional unit. If these troubleshooting steps don't resolve the declining performance and you continue experiencing the need for multiple daily reboots, eero Support is available at (877) 659-2347 7 days a week 6:00 am – 8:00 pm PT. Couldn't beat the price. Don't forget - this also networks with newer Amazon Dot's to extend your network ... no drop zones, dead spots, etc. Great, and easy to use / set up mesh networking device. Got the 6+ so I have the latest WiFi standards / speed!

House is not big, but coverage from basement to 1st floor is pretty good overall much better than the original Google Nest system which was in place.

I figured it would be a good purchase to really get the most out of the speed I was paying for over wifi as well. The setup was super straightforward, and the app itself is very easy to use overall I give it a glowing recommendation for its speed and value

I had the 2 nodes as it states that it could cover 4000 sq ft, well maybe if you didn't have walls! I had to upgrade to the 3 pack and I am getting better coverage in my garage now. The frustrating part is I have Spectrum (which Spectrum states this system integrates well with, and my Smart TV's, (LG specifically) CONSTANTLY lose connection with a node 20 feet away, so FRUSTRATING. Wifi is decent, but for long term, will probably be looking for something better, sad to say.

If you are going to use this just make sure you know it only allows access to the devices through the phone app.

The only thing is some smart TV or smart thermostat doesnt connect until you manually connect it. You will get what Im saying if you buy it. I highly recommend it.

No issues with previous wifi, but Orbi dropped iPhone 14 wifi calls reliably after a few minutes. Tried with wife's phone as well. Phones and Orbi's were all on latest firmware. Returned for These Eero's and have had no issues. Wish they had additional ports. Had to buy a switch for my Cat 8 cables to tvs
