I wasnt able to get the nodes exactly where i wanted them but found a good spot to still get signal where i wanted it. Overall good experience and they seem to be working well with the 20 or so devices i have.

One it has to do with the 3 mesh where you cannot use all 3 of them then slow down your speed of your internet stops working altogether. You will have to power the media off and on, then 30 min later, you have the same issue unless you unplug One of the mesh and use only 2 out of 3

This is reliable and covers and entire 6K Sq Ft home. Lower a star due to the premium charge for some features. This should not be a thing for a device that costs so much!

Within one week coverage began to fade and two of the satellites went out. Eero support was less than helpful so I returned it to Best Buy and went back to Netgear. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. Based on information on the packaging it should have been ideal. That was not the case. I took back and got the newer version of the Orbi, which I had previously.

This set completely let me down. 1 the bridge mode that i wanted to use it for never worked. The app is very limiting. Could never get it to use the IP range i wanted to after I decided to try to allow the eero to control my network completely. The hardwired portion of my network hardly ever really worked. And id have to completely unplug the main router to get it to work again for a few hours. 2 stars a wireless did work flawlessly. Switched to the netgear nighthawk mesh and now have full control and everything works as it should.

Here’s how to get your eero network online: 1. Download the eero app for iOS or Android on a phone or tablet with an internet connection. 2. Create an eero account or log in with your existing Amazon account information. 3. Unplug your old modem and router from power. 4. Connect your eero router to your modem using the included Ethernet cable. 5. Plug your eero router into an available power outlet, then reconnect your modem to power. If your modem is built into your current router, then you’ll connect the eero router to one of the Ethernet ports on your existing router. 6. Continue following the prompts in the app to set up your network. If you need any assistance during the setup process, please reach out directly to eero customer support at (877) 659-2347. Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The store manager Scott told me I didn't need Xfinity tv boxes with these, but I do, even though they are little routers they do not mesh with the 1 ethernet port netgear expensive modem he sold me . yes it was the only 1 in store with 2 phone ports but I wanted a modem router combo, he talked me out of it and since I had to wait for the installation which was not completely successful, the agent tried but with what I was sold for a future large house is not serving my purpose of not having to pay for rental tv boxes, in my current 1000sq ft home. I was told by xfinity I need a switch I go all the way to best buy and they tell me no I don't need 1 with the EERO pro. but I did . As I told Scott I have logitech best buy installed and purchased security cams, 4 laptop, pc , printer scanner , that i desperately need and has not worked since the geek squad and xfinity installation

Even if I shut off that mesh, it will disconnect from the strong signal box right next to me and reconnect to the weak box on other side of house when turned back on. No option to select which mesh to connect to. Unacceptable.

If you see that a device isn’t connected to the closest eero, don’t worry as it may still have an excellent connection. However, if you’re seeing weaker connections when there is a closer eero, you can toggle wifi off and back on for the device to connect to a closer eero. It should automatically connect to the best eero. These decisions are ultimately made by the device. However, we are continuing to put in the work on our end to make sure eero can do whatever possible to make these experiences more seamless. If these steps do not help, or if you need additional assistance, call eero customer service at 877-659-2347. They are available Monday–Sunday 6:00 am – 8:00 pm PT.
