No more WiFi connection issues!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Living in rural area internet is spotty at best. Still have a DSL/phone line internet, but have 3 floors. Had Geek Squad assist in network set up for us (retirees) and WOW! We can now stream without buffering! Whoot Whoot! Easy set up (may have been able to do it myself). Love Total Tech membership! Thanks Best Buy team! Game changer for us.

A great buy wireless mesh system
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these wireless mesh satellite docs. Have them all over the house and give a significant boost to the internet speed. Small and inconspicuous. Don’t take up a lot of room.

Great Wifi/Router/Mesh devices for all bands
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup is real easy and the mesh system works very well. Tri-band is also really helpful for connecting both old and newer devices. These eero's are a little on the large side, nothing too obtrusive but bigger than units I've seen at other homes.

Works well
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have upgraded from the pro to the 6E. I wasn’t expecting that I would need to uninstall and reinstall all of my connected equipment. I used the same Wi-Fi name and password, but I still had to go through the process of reconnecting everything. It was a hassle, but now it works fine.

Posted .Hi TheTecjNewbie. Thank you for providing feedback on your experience with the eero Pro 6E system. I'm sorry to hear that the upgrade wasn't as seamless as expected. I know that must've been frustrating. When upgrading eeros, I would suggest adding the new eeros to your existing network, completing the setup, then removing the older eeros from the network so that it doesn't prompt you to create a network name and password. To do this you’ll open the eero app, tap the blue plus icon on the top right, select “indoor eero”, then follow the prompts to add the new eero to the network. Once the new eeros are connected, you can use the app to remove the older eeros from your network. I hope this information helps. Have a great day!

eero Pro 6E 4 months after installation
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: + Set up is reasonably straight forward + Works well when they aren't updating software and leave it alone for a while + Coverage is good + Attractive design allows for placement in more rooms Cons: - Key features behind a subscription paywall (e.g. parental controls, content filtering, network monitoring, more) - While I appreciate security updates, bug fixes and the occasional new feature, this router has far more software updates than I have ever seen in comparable products. Often, I've found that these updates introduce new bugs or require a complete network reboot to recover stability. I wish they would slow down a bit and better test these releases before deploying them. - Subscription sell ups are in prominent and distracting positions in the app user interface I'll keep using our Pro 6e mesh network as long as it doesn't require more time to maintain or introduce bugs that take our devices offline. Next time I think I'll go back to a brand that focuses solely on networking products vs a business model built on subscriptions and frequent software updates.

Amazing house coverage!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my second modem for this after 3 Best Buy employees told me in different store visits that it was they used and were very satisfied. They were right! My house is 4,200 sq ft, 5 people, only streaming entertainment and 3 gamers, most times simultaneously. No complaints at all from the streamers and gamers. Very satisfied. My only advise is to move the terminals around until you find the sweet spot where the speed is optimal in all devices. It took 2 tries for me.

Costly but very powerful and capable routers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Internet provider supplied me with an Eero Pro and a standard Eero mesh setup when I started my service, but when Best Buy had a sale on the newer Eero Pro 6E 2-pack, I decided to try it. So far, I haven't noticed a significant speed difference, but it was already pretty fast at 1 gigabyte. I can say unequivocally that the signal is stable and fast, and I know that there is more in reserve should I move to a larger space. I have one unit as the base unit attached to my modem, and the other unit is the satellite router upstairs. I take advantage of the two ethernet ports on each unity to maximize the signal speed and stability, but the wireless capability is really impressive as well. I am confident that this Eero Pro 6E tri-band mesh system will meet my Internet needs for many years to come.

Upgrade from EERO 6 to EERO Pro 6E.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Part of the upgrade from EERO 6 to this EERO PRO 6E in order to run 1.2 gig bit speed for the household. But it is little pricey but it is worth the upgrade to do this.

Great plug and play capability
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup and config. Fast wifi with powerful radios. No more dead zones in our house. Only issue is 2 ethernet ports. Really not a good solution for those with many ethernet devices

Good Product but not great...
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a fan of Eero's products since their first. I found the previous Wi-Fi 5 device at initial launch was a gamechanger and I have always been a fan of their customer service. However, I find the distance coverage of this model to be deceiving as I have a total of 4 devices needed to cover a one story 2100sp foot home. I believe this stems on recent software updates which have reduced distance from their first product (which required me to update to this model) and is now creating distance reductions in this model. Besides this issue, I find the product to stable and reliable and would recommend this to others.

Posted .Hi Schmeckelp. Thank you for your feedback on the eero Pro 6E. I'm sorry to hear about your range concerns. Each eero Pro 6E router provides coverage up to 2,000 sq. ft. Depending on the layout of your home and the materials used in its construction, more eeros could be needed. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

Great WiFi speeds after good help from Eero
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a 2-floor town house. My second-floor router was connected to Xfinity cable internet system. I was getting only 50 MB/S speeds with Xfinity's top-tier Xfi unlimited data system, and the connection with our main TV on the first floor. I replaced the xfinity "Gateway" unit (combo router and modem) with a Arris Surfboard 2.4 GB modem and the top-tier Eero 6E AXE5400 Tri-band router and external pods. Eero walked me through the install, which required placing the downstairs pods in just the right spot to cover the TV which was downstairs and at the other end of the house. After the install, my typical internet speed went from 50 MB/S with xfinity to 950 MB/S with the Eero system. TV reception, which depends upon the WiFi, now is flawless, fast, and reliable for the first time. The Eero system is expensive, but has been the only one that works well in our townhouse!
