There are limitations though. In my environment I have not been able to get the mesh to work correctly with my existing modem/gateway. I’ve spent several multi-hour sessions on the phone with Eero support and CenturyLink and it still has issues. I work from home, so issues are a problem.

I was convinced my house was jinxed. This Eero system has worked flawlessly. Expensive, but stress-free, so worth it for me. I'm old and cranky. I don't need any additional stressers in my life

Our Ring Alarm Pro router - also an Eero router - was losing connection and needed to be replaced by a new primary Eero router FAST because our TV is internet based and the Super Bowl party was starting. This one is substantially faster. Easy to install.

There are three units as compared to the two of another name brand I had prior. These were to be an upgrade for me beign the Pro E series. My download speeds have been reduced along with connectivity. Items like my robo vac and light bulbs are not staying connected to the internet and I find myself having to set those items up again and again.

Posted .Hi Mdhfarmgirl. Thanks for reaching out about your experience with the eero Pro 6E system. I am sorry to hear about the issues you’ve been having. Sometimes power cycling your eeros can resolve connectivity issues. You can do this by unplugging and replugging it. Once you’ve plugged it back into power, wait for your eero to boot back up. This should take about 2 minutes. If the WiFi cuts out after the eero restart, notate the time of the outage and reach out to eero customer support for further troubleshooting steps. They can be reached at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
