    Works Great With Frontier Fiber!!

I am 3 years in now with the eero echo-system and have been quite happy with their equipment. For this one, I needed two ports that were 5 Gig each throughput - not the 6 Pro provided by Frontier - 2.5 Gig and 1 Gig on the 6 Pro. I needed both to be at least 2.5 Gig throughput for my needs - so I relegated the one Frontier provided to me to another part of the house. Anyway, I have this directly wired to the ONT from Frontier (optical network terminal) on to a QNAP 10 Gig switch with Cat 6A cable and it works flawlessly. Plug and play is never easier with the eero system. I wish that I could have the 7 Max throughout the house, but overkill for now and quite expensive equipment. I have more than enough bandwidth to handle up to 40 streaming devices in 4K simultaneously - way more than enough bandwidth and equipment. Quite happy and I actually love buying from my local Best Buy. It's nice to walk in and have a helpful person approach me with assistance.

Beyond Words - Absolutely Amazing to say the least! You put one by your Internet modem and plug 3 foot Ethernet wire in to new eero. Set the other 2 evenly in the house for best coverage. In my case, I put one in my office next to my computer. Then I ran another 3 foot Ethernet cable from my computer to my eero. On my old WiFi I was getting around 260 Now I’m getting over 1222mbps. This is insane, I wish I had done this long time ago!

This product was a signficant upgrade from my eero 6e 3 pack. However, this product signal strength is significantly weaker in further parts of a 1200 sqft apartment.

    Big upgrade from 6E

I first started with EERO when the five series came out. It was excellent, and the coverage was great. But i preferred 2.5GbE for local data transfers between devices. I upgraded… or so I thought… to the 6E, and they were a downgrade in many ways. Range was substantially lower, and I had a lot of dropouts throughout the day, making teleconferences finnicky and unreliable. These wifi 7 models are excellent. Switching over was a breeze, and they are blazing fast. One of my favorite features about mesh systems is the wireless backhaul leaf creating a wireless connection that still physically connects to the Eero network. 0 packet loss on the new Wifi 7 compared to moments of 50-100% packet loss on the 6E within rated range. The only downsides thus far is that the the subscription locks a lot of features behind a paywall of $10/month, even some of the most basic statistics. Additionally, there are only two ports on each unit. I’m not taking a star away because I knew the subscription was an existing detriment to all eero setups overall prior to pirchase. As for the ports, having only 2 ethernet posts can easily be mitigated with a 2.5GbE ethernet switch for less than $100. They likely did this to persuade users to upgrade to the pro seven…. For $1500. If you plan on plugging in more than one device to the gateway, you need to buy a switch, so keep that in mind when you budget. Another bonus that most people may have missed is that the previous Eero models only had a one year warranty. The new Wi-Fi seven models have a three-year warranty now so kudos to that. Even if you don’t have any Wi-Fi seven enabled devices, which I don’t, I would still recommend this set hands down. Newer Wi-Fi adapters will have “multi-link operation” which is fully supported on this. It will theoretically allow you to connect to the 2.4 GHz and/or 5 GHz networks simultaneously for better reliability and speeds.

The eero Pro 7 Wi-Fi 7 router is an absolute game-changer for my home network. Setup was straightforward using the app, and I immediately noticed faster speeds and better coverage throughout the house, even in dead zones. The tri-band mesh technology keeps multiple devices connected smoothly without lag, which is perfect for streaming, gaming, and working from home. The sleek white design fits nicely with my home décor too. If you want a powerful, future-proof router that’s easy to manage, the eero Pro 7 is definitely worth it!

After two months of use, the Eero Pro 7 system has been a game-changer. The setup was incredibly easy, and the system has been rock-solid with no glitches. Our 4,000 sq ft home is now fully covered with a strong, consistent signal. Having worked in IT for 20 years, I've used many systems, including the Netgear Orbi for over eight years. The performance and ease of use of the Eero Pro 7 are a definite upgrade. This is a product I highly recommend

Upgrading to the Eero Pro 7 was the best decision for my home network. The setup was quick and painless, and the coverage is fantastic—every room in my house now gets strong, reliable Wi-Fi. Speeds are super fast, even when multiple devices are streaming, gaming, or working at the same time. I also love how the app makes it easy to check my network status and manage devices. If you’re looking for a fast, future-proof mesh system, the Eero Pro 7 is absolutely worth it.

I struggled with 3 Deco BE16000s for months before throwing in the towel and trying to Eero. Decos were always disconnecting even though the wifi signal was at 3 bars. Moved to the Eeros and will not look bakc. Setup was a breeze and I added on one outside wifi 7 Eero to complete everything. These cover the front of my house for a Tesla and then inside, the three pack fully cover my 3900 sqft, two story house. I have these eero pros all hard wired and the outdoor eero is linked via wifi. Have not had issues with wifi for the past week I have been using them where the decos would have issues every single day. Speeds are not quite as fast as the Deco BE16000, but I think I am going to add one Eero max for the primary unit to boost speeds where we use wifi the most. Reliability on the Eeros is a night and day difference over the Decos.

I bought this set to expand our WIFI range and ensure we had Ethernet ports at specific locations for our most data hungry devices (computers, gaming consoles, etc.). So far it has done exactly that. We get nice even WiFi throughout the apartment and Ethernet connectivity where we need it. There are several other setups possible with these devices, so I can see us using them perfectly well as our needs evolve.

Setup was very easy using the app. They will auto-detect if ethernet backhaul is present. They are faster with ethernet backhaul due to the 2.5G ethernet ports. Getting full internet speeds (1.2Gbps) over wifi on devices with Wifi 6E using wired backhaul. Speeds were around 500Mbps using wireless backhaul with the eeros all on different floors.

Decided to purchase this after deciding against replaying my old Orbi with a new one, mostly because of the price, but also some ratings, and the fact that the Orbi I wanted has been out for 3 years now and got tired of waiting for an updated version of the 970. Bought the Eero 7 Max, because I was in the market and because of the great sale price ($510 off), but realized that with only two of us home now, the Max was overkill. The ratings on the 7 Pro were better than the Max, and it was half the price of the Max sale price, so decided to go with it. I had some trouble setting it up. Following the directions on the app were actually correct, but for some reason, I was unable to complete the installation. I reached out to Eero, and got incorrect information (rep told me to bridge the Spectrum router, and then failed to call me back as promised after a reset of the Spectrum and Eero equipment), so I called Spectrum, who told me NOT to bridge a Spectrum router with the Eero, just replace the Spectrum router with the Eero. So, I verified this with another Eero rep who stayed with me while I followed the app setup guide, and this time it worked. It reaches all parts of the house including the basement, but signal strength is lower in the points furthest away from the router or satellites than with my old Orbi, but still strong enough to be satisfactory, and the signal is stable throughout the house. One exception to that was one dropped call when I was using wifi calling and moved from the basement to the first floor. It must have changed to a satellite, and the call dropped. So far, it's only happened once. Will have to keep an eye on that. My only complaint is that even though I named the network the same and kept my old password, I had to reenter the password for every WiFi device, something I didn't even have to do when I replaced the Orbi with the Spectrum Router. It was a small inconvenience though, so I consider it a security measure that probably wasn't really necessary, but that's the way it's built. I also had to connect a device that will only function on a 2.4 GHz band, and being that it's a triband, but has only the 5 GHz ethernet plugs, the device wasn't able to connect right away, but after about 5 minutes or so, it was able to connect. I'm not sure why it seemed to hesitate, as the ethernet ports are adaptive to the requirements of the device. Anyway, it works now and has not dropped. So, all in all, I had a couple of issues getting it set up, but it's worked very well since; we even had a rare power outage, and it recovered just fine on its own, and all previously connected devices have reconnected.

Upgraded from Nest Wifi and the coverage is better. Nest Wifi nodes went offline frequently and I haven't experienced anything like that with eero. Speed seems to be about the same, though. It's a good speed for my 1gb fiber. Happy with the upgrade.
