Brand new rpg from the creator of the legendary Suikoden series. The graphics are good, combat is fun! 100 characters to collect.

Beware of poor English localization. They pretty much changed entire dialogues from the Japanese version of the game for "modern audiences" in the west. Like all of us who play JRPGs in the west are so worried about being politically correct when playing a game. It may not be a big deal to some, but little things like that takes the immersion out of the game when you know somebody who worked on the localization decided to change the script and insert their politics into it. I was looking forward to this game for a while, and wanted to support Murayama's last game, but somebody here wanted to ruin it for the rest of us. I just wish we got a better localization of the game.

So far so great. I am 10 hrs in and enjoying myself this is definitely the new Suikoden it is hitting on all the nostalgia feelings of the originals. The only thing i want now is Suikoden 1-5 remasters or at least put them on the PS5. I know Suikoden 1 and 2 are supposed to get a remaster so hoping i get this finished as that releases. I also cant wait for Eiyuden Chronicles 2 even though the lead died I hope someone picks up the torch and moves forward.

Well, this is the spiritual successor. It has everything that you love about Suikoden. 100+ recrutable characters, town building, strategic battles... the liat goes on. It's basically Suikoden 6 with a different name. Made by the creators of the original Suikoden. Don't miss out on this trip down memory lane. If you like old school JRPS, then make this your next purchase. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing game, great story and brings back all of the memories of the Suikoden series. I felt like a kid again. I look forward to the next game in the series.

This game was fantastic if you enjoy old school JRPG’s. It was clearly a love letter to the Suikoden series, and while the story wasn’t as dark it was still really good.

Has a few bugs but definitely a game that reminds me of the good old days. It’ll definitely hold you over if you are waiting for the suikoden remasters

Beautiful pixel art characters mix extremely well with 3D rendered backgrounds to create a stunning visual package. The story and characters are great, to boot!

Amazing job with capturing the glory days of the rpg chances are if your playing this game you already know where it hails from if not your missing out and should take a walk through time to the days of Suikoden and Lunar Grandia BOF to many to list my personal opinion is this should be up on the wall with some of the greatest wish it wad longer though

Solid game, and a love letter to Suikoden of the past. More DLC coming out so the stories will be continued, but with the Suikoden 1 & 2 remakes coming out now, i would recommend those first before diving into this!
