Thunderous sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things are huge! Incredible sound packs a punch. But consider getting smaller versions if you don't have a big living room.

Not for Me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to set these speakers up with my turntable for vinyl listening. I purchased them and they just sounded too neutral for me. Nothing was notable about the mids, highs or lows and I was expecting something more. Went with the Klipsch 600m.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been an Audiophile on and off hobby-wise since the early seventies, but have a small area in which to put my system. The size of these speakers fit the bill, and the sound is overall quite refined. They are fairly inefficient so work best with at least 50wpc if you occasionally like to rock out. The sound is excellent and can be listened to for long periods without fatigue. They have the added benefit of being front ported which gives you many more options with placement in small spaces. After much research at many price points these were literally the only ones that checked all the boxes for my situation, a fact which surprised me given I was willing to spend considerably more. So yeah, I doubt you'll be disappointed with these if you like a fairly neutral and accurate speaker.

Can't be beat for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these to replace some old surround speakers and used them in that capacity for a couple of weeks, and they performed admirably. Decided to try them for front channel duty,so I swapped them with my 25 year old Definitve Technology BP 8s. Wow! To say that I am impressed is an understatement. Love the imaging, wide soundstage and ample low end. Coming from the bipolar Def Techs is refreshing. Don't get me wrong, even after 25 years, the BP 8s still sound great, but I love the pinpoint imaging of these Elacs. There's a reason that these speakers get such good ratings. Take a listen, they compare favorably to speakers costing way more. Definitely don't regret this purchase.

Fantastic speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased these speakers because my vandersteen model 2 which are your over 20 years old needed the mid bass and woofers reconed, and later put the Elac in my bedroom To my surprise when I hook them up to my main system. I was pleasantly surprised. Wide soundstage great Bass and very forward in the mid-range, placement was very easy and now I listen to my system more than I ever have. My system is Denon 1560 CD player, bluesound node 2i streamer, mytek Liberty DAC, a tube preamp, and two 300 watt monoblocks. What I'm hearing I cannot describe, are the Elac better than my vandersteen, NO BUT I enjoyed listening to them so much I borrowed a friend's SVS subwoofer and the combination sounds fantastic, And when I get my vandersteen back, I am actually going to have to compare the two to see which one is more Musical. Great speakers for the money and when set up right can't be beat.

Exceptional value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are considering bookshelf speakers put these on your short list to audition. At full price, they are a compelling choice. On sale, they are an absolute steal. Powering them with an NAD receiver, using Kimber 4tc wire, playing a DVP9000es DVD/CD. Great imaging, solid, composed, tuneful bass. Detailed and articulate treble.

A Well-Balanced Speaker!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My B6.2 are tied into my Denon AVR S-960H, having a 5.1 set-up or home entertainment system. This speaker replaces previous Klipsch R-15M and most recent JBL Stage A130. The B6.2 is by far the most balanced speakers with punch and balance. I listen to, Classical, Folk, 60's, and Todays Hits. This speaker performs straight across the board, to MY ears. Sci_Fi movies never sounded better, compared to the previous mentioned speakers. I highly recommend.
