One of my favorite games ever. The open world is gorgeous and rewards exploration. Gameplay is challenging but fair to players who invest the time to learn. Whether you've played Dark Souls before or are new to the Soulsborne world, treat yourself to this experience. Shipping was delayed by a couple days but I'm guessing that's more a FedEx issue.

Great game, awesome graphics amazingly open world. Some bosses are difficult but the challenge makes it worth the purchase.

Great game. It’s a little difficult but a fun and beautiful open world to explore. Very dark and menacing character design and story. The frame rate issues are there but IMHO not game breaking and on PS5 where I’m playing it VRR should alleviate concerns when that becomes available. My biggest grip is that because I bought the PS4 version and am playing on PS5, every time I start the game or if I leave the disk in, the PS4 version is loaded onto my hard drive. I am lucky that I have an external drive where I allocate all my PS4 games to run from, but I will never play the PS4 version of this game nor will I play it from the external hard drive if I did. I have my PS4 Pro still in my lounge area and I bought this version because I could play it there if I want and I got a free upgrade. The implementation of this upgrade has been done poorly, but I do think this is a PS5 problem, not a From Software issue. So I do think this game is great however, if you have an issue getting killed in the game often, this might not be for you.

amazing game!! it is pretty hard and unfortunately you'll most likely need to search up tutorials to do the quests needed to advance the main storyline, but everything else about the game is phenomenal. the open world is strikingly beautiful and immersive, the character designs, character writing, and lore is amazing, the bosses are super fun to play against, everything about the game is just better than anything I've ever played! you can tell so much thought, care, and love was put into every aspect, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes longer/harder games

I have been looking for a game like the Champions of Norrath (PS2) since 2008. I loved that game and was so sad it wasn't supported. This is the closest I've found. I'm not very good at games but I was able to pick this up and hobble through the first parts before I got used to it. The gameplay is smooth and accessible for someone who wouldn't consider themselves a gamer. I'm pretty early in, but so far so good!

Love the game, great graphics, excellent gameplay. It is a very fun RPG with alot of freedom to roam around. Game is challenging especially for people new to this type of game, you need strategy and alot of patience. Game is not for those who get gamer rage and wanna throw a controller at the tv screen and not for the faint of heart. Hahahaha! Love it more than Skyrim (Skyrim was my favorite RPG ever!)

Awesome open-world fantasy action-rpg; Dark Souls meets Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Challenging, but there is always somewhere else to venture if you feel the current area that you are exploring is too difficult, or you can summon a 2nd/3rd player to co-op with you. Tons of secrets to find. Graphics and sound are awesome. Played for about 50 hours so far, and feel like I am just getting started...

Refreshing and challenging. Gameplay, story and world building is top notch. A Masterpiece of a game that must be played.

What can I say about Elden Ri g that people haven't already said. It's epic, mysterious, challenging and absolutely engrossing. There's always a way to overcome the challenges and enemies in this masterpiece of a game. There are so many weapon types, builds options and statehies you can find that there really isn't a wrong way to play or a set playstyle you have need to stick to. Out of the Fromsoft games I've played, this is the most versatile and gives players the most freedom to find their way through The Lands Between. If you're put off by the reputation for Soulsborne games being really hsrd, try this anyway. I'd also suggest if you enjoy it, pick up the other From games because they're amazing and the challenges are hard, but not unfair, there's always a way to overcome and people are actually really helpful in the community, so don't get put off by the 'git gud' stuff. Anyway, the characters in Elden Ring are so well done and the lore is so deep. Miyazaki and co do environmental storytelling like nobodies business.

Fantastic! I thought people were just hyping Elden Ring. They were not. Definitely one of the best games ever. Challenging, beautiful, funny, strange and sorrowful. This game takes all of the best elements of the Souls universe and multiplies them by 1,000. But you must still Git Gud...

Absolute perfection on every level, I've never played a dark souls game, but this is art. The only thing standing between you and victory, is you and your ability to play.... even death is satisfying because you can feel your mistake until 15 deaths later, you finally beat that boss.... your way! Not the way other players say, but how you make up your play style.

Super difficult game, and yet I love it (as so many people do). Beautiful open world, a ton of fun to journey around in. Highly recommend it.

This game is massive. It's an open world Souls-Borne game. If you love a challenge and a vast world, this game is for you

So there was little to no fanfare for this release and it boggles my mind because this game is absolutely amazing! It’s hard af but incredibly satisfying and just a beautiful open world that redefines what an open world game experience means. 5 Stars

i liked how the game just lets you wonder thru out the map and discover on your own. if you ove a chellenge this is it.

Another great game by From Software. A well-done spiritual successor to Dark Souls with an open world touch. I've spent hours playing it and only touched the story. A plus for me, but some might like a more straightforward game.

It’s a hard game but definitely worth it the time. Love that this game does not has a mission and you can explore everything.

Very in depth if you want to explore and play every part of the game. You will most likely get smashed, broken, thrown, shot, impaled, slashed, eaten and fall to your death many, many times. It’s all worth it.

All the essence of the souls games with an open world Adventure, just wonderful. Been a souls like games fan from a couple years and I can assure you this is a masterpiece, it was worth the wait !

If you are prepared to have the Dark Souls formula of being killed a lot, but with a massive open world, you will love this game. So much to explore and see. Lovely open world map design.
