Game is incredibly addictive! So much to do, such a beautiful game, huge learning curve if its your first soulsborne game but well worth it!

Single greatest game of all time. The discoveries are endless, battles challenging, weapons and armor look sick. The only downside is it makes all other games feel subpar.

Feels like a blend of Sekiro and Dark Souls 3. The world is huge and there is near endless content. I have put in around 60 hours and still have not filled the map out. I would recommend looking up the NPC list and their respective locations and questlines before starting the game, as some can get messed up easily. They are very easy to miss and some of their directions are unclear. E.g. Blaidd saying he will be "near" the well. Lies! Some locations are bizarre as ever and require some research before you can figure out how to get there. No matter how diligent, you will miss things, so definitely keep the Wiki open.

I am only ten hours in, but this game is breathtaking. It is outrageously hard, but the difficulty is what makes it feel so much more worthwhile when you actually progress.

4 stars because I preordered and my steelbook still hasnt come 7 days after release if i had it then it would be 5.
From really managed to make the open world work recent open world titles all feel the same (especially ubisoft) but Elden Ring is one of the few that are actually like Breath of The Wild where seeing a odd thing in the distance can make you spend a whole day on a boss or cave. The last couple of souls games had a lot of minor setbacks but the quality of life fixes with Elden Ring make this game very good. For example when an outpost is cleared some of your flasks are replenished. Another good quality of life feature is the statue of merika feature which makes boss runs non existent. Although magic is a bit too op like in Demon's Soul's the game is still very difficult using the non op spells or incantations and or also using melee. I also love that bows are finally viable and fun to play with. If this is your first souls game I advise playing another souls game first (preferably Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne) or play Elden Ring first and then play the other soulsborne games its all up to you.

Beautiful world and amazing game. Fromsoft kills it. Open world souls type game and there is just so much to do. I keep finding new areas and am loving every minute of it.

It is a beautiful game. However, you should prepare to be frustrated. This game is not intended to be easy. You will die, a LOT. The reward makes up for it all.

Not for everyone, but it it's for you it's absolutely the pinnacle of the form. I have been trying to manage my expectations but have loved all the soulsbornes so couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I love how they integrated the open world. Exploring is so perilous and so rewarding. So many different approaches to your character can work. And it is just fun. There's still no story but that's just the genre, and the world is super developed compared to predecessors.

This is the newest, and hands-down best installment of the "Souls" games. Punishingly difficult, but rarely unfair. Such an amazing gameplay experience!

This game is top of the line for RPG games, especially if you enjoy a challenge. They don't make it easy to play, but that's what makes this awesome. The gameplay itself is excellent, the number of character classes and class options are also great, and the number of items seem endless. The graphics are clean as well. If you enjoy playing an RPG, this is the game for you. I also like the ability to play online with other people, but that option is a bit limited to specific games scenarios only vs. a full time online virtual world of playing together all the time.
