Now that release day has finally come we can see that the hype for this game was completely unnecessary. Pre-release reviews put this game on a pedestal and didn’t mention any of its flaws, makes me wonder how much money was put into them. Unfortunately I bought into it and after around 10 or so hours of playing I’m left wondering why I was even excited for this. Clearly the day 1 patch did not help and just caused even more graphical pop in and stuttering on PS5. The controls are messy, there is no real sense of progression and the camera angles can be infuriatingly bad on horseback at times. I will say this game has an interesting world with some awesome character and boss designs which is part of what got me interested but the gameplay just isn’t what it’s being marketed as. Graphics and performance wise I would say it is a solid last gen release which makes it 2 years too late to be anything special. Wait for a sale on this one.

Typical fromsoftware game, It never disappoint when buying a Fromsoftware game. I'm enjoying the lore and addicting game that will be on my ps5 for the majority of the yr and beyond
