I never played the other games like this one but I heard repeatedly that this is a tough game and it is. I almost gave up on it but after finding some ways to level up quickly. It is still very challenging but it is now enjoyable. I suggest googling rune farms and searching for help online. That was super helpful.

It's an open world souls game, it is what it is. If you like souls you will probably love this. If your not a souls fan this definitely ain't for you. Don't go by all the on line reviews saying it is one of the greatest games ever. It truly is a love it or hate it game.

This game looks great, and is a good game, but come on, its way to hard, i want a geme i can play without dying every 5 mins, not for the casual gamer.

A lot of people love this game, not me, not one bit. Terrible training and intro section for such a complex game, not very good graphics for a next gen game on PS5, die die die, constantly and it’s not fun, miss a hidden task at the beginning and you’re screwed for the next 40 hours. If you’ve ever played the first half-life, anything from naughty dog, botw or any other “good game” then you may look at this and scratch your head about their design choices. From Software literally drops you in to an environment that is full of inside secrets that you have to devote your life to figuring out. If you don’t spend 20 hours of torture learning their game language then you just won’t get it. No game should take more than two hours, maybe three to hook you. So very disappointed.
