Using my old gaming PC from 2017 as my streaming PC, I'm finally able to have the right passthrough for 4K 144hz (10gb passthrough USB port required). Since my older PC doesn't have a USB-C plug in, but a strong enough USB-A port, I just bought an adapter that can handle that level of passthrough, and it was working just fine. Easy set up, and a decent upgrade from the HD60X.

One of the few hdmi 2.1 capture cards. This is on the usb bus, so you are limited on bandwidth. You have to use mjpg for capturing 4k144 with only a 4:2:0 8 bit color format. If you can live with reduced color format at higher framerates, then this will suffice for you. The only drawback is the new 2.1 capture cards also reduce the 4k60 colorspace captures too

If you want to record up to 240 fps or just simply 120fps in 4K, then this is the graphics card for you. I really believe that this should have been the initial graphics card to come out with the current gen consoles. So far I’ve experienced no issues while using it in obs. I will say that it looks practically the same to the HD60 X so it’s easy to get them confused. However if you’re a specs person like myself then you should be able to tell them apart in that regard. Plus, it say 4K X on it.

This company very nearly lost my business entirely a couple of months ago. The first product I got from them was not compatible with my system in spite of the representative at the time telling me it was. I passed the incompatible capture card to a friend and bought this after checking the compatibility myself.
I plugged everything in and it worked out of the box consistently and as advertised with no hiccups after a month. The card itself feels a bit light and plastic-y, but the upside of that is ease of transport.

Easy to set up and use, and it gets me exactly what I need which is excellent quality capture footage off the games I play. This will easily become a staple in my content workflow.

Device is great, accepts VRR and HDR signals so I can use this device with a simple HDMI 2.1 splitter from ps5 into the capture port, the other end goes to my TV. This allows me to stream/capture on pc and still play ps5 at 4k VRR 120hz on oled tv with no problems or compromises.
The only thing that sucks is the 4k utility app, it is slow and adds a lot of input lag compared to the old game capture HD app for my old HD 60s, if I wanted to play straight from the preview window on my pc instead of tv.

This was an integral part for my dual pc setup! Just the link to connect gaming pc to streaming pc with flawless audio and video transfer. Highly recommend!

This does the job it's advertised to do. However, one big warning for Mac users who want to keep 60 fps: Don't update the firmware! I made that mistake and right back to the store it went to exchange for one with the old 60 fps capable firmware. Apparently this is an ongoing issue with Elgato and Apple. Hopefully it will get patched soon but until then: Don't update.

I previously bought the 4k60 Pro but had difficulty with compatibility on my PC. After trying to get it to work for multiple days and buying a new 4k monitor I eventually gave up and refunded it to purchase this.
Since this doesn't have the same internal requirements within my PC this allows me to record my PS5 gameplay in 4k with no delay.

This is a huge upgrade from my previous capture card (Elgato HD Pro). Being able to play 4k+HDR on my 2k ultrawide monitor feels great! I bought this to play Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth on PS5 and had a fantastic time. Extremely easy to setup and play. This has very low latency, playing in the preview window of OBS works really well.

Perfect for capturing gameplay from PS5 or Xbox Series X without losing image quality on passthrough. Two main caveats: 1. this card can only capture 4K 60Hz in SDR, not HDR, due to the limited 10Gbps bandwidth; 2. it can only support 5Gbps bandwidth on macOS, so the capture is further limited to 4K 30fps, and Elgato says they have no intention to fix this.

Great item. Works great. Just beware the cable is USB-C to USB-C so if youre using an older computer you might need to upgrade your rig. Other than that, streaming and gameplay come in clean 4kHDR up to 144hz.

This is a huge upgrade over the original HD60s that I’ve been using for years. One thing to note, check the legato website for exact capture resolutions supported by your system. You can’t capture HDR on Mac. Elgato software seems capped at 4k 60 add but 4k 60 hdr works in OBS. I did some test recording and it looked great.
