elgato camlink has clear video, im satisfied, easy to use.

This is very easy to set up and use to turn your standalone camera (DSLR, for example) into a webcam and to capture video feed from other devices. I use it in combination with an RCA-to-HDMI converter to create digital archives of VHS and handi-cam videos. Happy with this product.

Not a lot to say, here other than this small device takes in HDMI video (and audio over HDMI) up to 4K and into your computer. I mainly use it to use a regular camera (DSLR or mirrorless) as my webcam for web/video conferencing. For sure it was meant for the streaming community but works well for this. There are other cheaper options out there in similar form factors, but this one is rock solid.

Plug and play. Works great with each of my video cameras. Love it. Way better than a webcam. Fantastic.

Because of whats going on in the world with covid , i needed a way to plug my camera up to my pc to stream the services we normally have on sunday and Wednesday out to our church so the wouldnt have to risk getting sick coing out. I cam across the cam link online at best buy and im glad i did. Ive been using this item for a little over 2 1/2 years now and its been a blessing.

This is the video adapter. I bought this cam adapter to use with my Nikon cam and plugged to OBS, when I used other brands always I got issues related to audio and video sync, using El gato I didn't do anything and my audio and video are synchronized and my video is 4k for streaming Pretty good. 100% my best investment of this year

The Cam Link is a great HTML input device. I have a cheaper brand I was using, but sometimes had connection issues with it. The Cam Link has worked flawlessly, since I first purchased it. I conduct webinars on a regular basis and need a reliable device to connect a PTZ or DSLR Camera to my computer. This is the right device for the job.

The Cam Link is easy to use and works great! I use the Cam Link to use my DSLR (Sony a99- A-Mount) as my web cam for Zoom Meetings. This item is literally a plug and play device. I downloaded the Elgato software after several uses to make sure my device remained up-to-date. This is such a hard to find device. I was thrilled to be able to pick it up in-store at Best Buy when I had been waiting for months for the Cam Link to be restocked at B&H Photo.

Performes exactly as expected! The perfect interface to stream my mirrorless camera to my MacBook...

Had to tinker with the settings to get the frame rate and resolution correct and it gets hot quite fast, even if it is just plugged in. Video quality is great and overall good usb capture card.

This was the missing link in my webcasting set up First off these are very hard to fine because they work excellent out of the box and it allowed me to hook up my GoPro as well as my Canon and Nikon cameras on my Mac as well as my PC. These have been out of stock constantly but Best Buy came through so I didn’t have to buy overpriced on the secondary market. Thank you Best Buy for giving me a quality product at a real price and giving me a quick delivery

I already use the Cam Link 4K for sports streaming, and it's a great way for me to plug in a camcorder as a video output.

Works really well for streaming to zoom/Skype/youtube (note it does seem to get warm after extended use) but was easy and simple to use and get working.

Bought a Canon eos m200 assuming I would use the eos webcam utility for my live streams and video capture for videos. The quality that came out Iof thag utility was not the best so I quickly went out and bought the camlink and glad I did. Quality difference was noticeable. For most dslr and mirrors cameras this is a must and even if your camera has a utility that can be used over usb this is still a far better solution.
