The product works great with high-end cameras on the list. You have to have a camera with a clean HDMI out signal. Visit the website before you buy. I had to return it because the camera I bought it for didn't have a clean signal out.

After having a cheap Amazon video card failure during an important Teams meeting, I did some research and this product is highly recommended. I used it all week and it’s been flawless. I pair it with an old GoPro 4 Silver as my camera.

I really liked it, super ease of access. I figured out how to use it from Google since the staff at Best Buy, did not really know how, and they wanted me to purchase additional items to make this work, but that was not needed.

I got this to use with my new Canon M50 MK 2 and I wasn't disappointed. The setup is pretty straight forward and easy to set up in my opinion. For someone who is fairly new to Elgato's line of products (I have one of their Key Lights) I'm very impressed so far!

I am glad these are finally back in stock as the pandemic constricted supply. This works perfectly with the camcorder I use to livestream our church services and zoom calls. The price is fair for what it does. It is simple and easy to use out of the box.

It just works without any issue. Just plug in and go! I'm using with a Nikon D750 with constant power supply to camera and it works flawlessly as a streaming camera/web cam. It loses points on value though because you can buy a $25 knock off link with not much dip in quality of picture.

i wanted a connection from my DSLR to my laptop, so I could use it for YouTube and streaming, including Zoom, and MS Teams. The Cam Link provides just that, and the software for the computer to receive and process the videos or live images. Nothing else (except a HDMI cable) was needed.

Super easy to connect and use, and the free downloadable program is a great companion for this product!

It is a wonderful product for upgraded zoom calls. I used it to hook up to my DSLR and have a virtual conference. Pretty straight forward and loved the little extension cord in case you have other USB connections with the El Gato being a little wide. Would def recommend.

Has a lot of easy and not so easy to fix issues. After some YouTube videos teaching me how to fix it, it works well .

4 star because it has an unusual way of overheating when it on use but overall its works pretty good for what's it is intended to do. I brought this device to use my digital camera (LUMIX) as my main camera instead of my laptop webcam for LIVE streaming on Zoom and FB. Once you download the CAM LINK program it connects your digital camera straight to the laptop. Its a bit pricey but it is worth the money.

I had an old GoPro5 that I am using with this. It’s much nicer than my old web camera. I can see this having lots of Use with cameras that have more features. Only issue I have is that this can get very warm, so careful If you touch it after streaming for a few hours.

This works fine for connecting with video camera. This is small, but strong. Elgato Cam Link 4k is exclusively number one for connecting video camera to PC. No one can beat! This is recommendable whoever wants to find one. But, the price is not cheap.

Bought this item to use with my Sony a7ii camera and i couldnt ask for anything better! The only thing i dont love about it is the size of the usb. Since it uses up some extra space on the back of my computer it uses up yhe space for 2 items

Purchased this to use with video chat and a mirrorless camera sony a6000 purchased from best buy also. Works very well and gives perfect passthrough without any issues. Also included was adapter cable to avoid having the possibility of breaking the camlink while hanging from your computer USB port!

I got this instead of buying another camera to use for online classes. Only, I wished that there was a mini hdmi cable for my camera included instead of an ubs extension cord. Also concerned that this could burn out my camera's sensor... but only time will tell.

We have a few of these babies in our broadcast booth at church and they work great!! We are able to capture different cameras in order to switch angles during our service. A cheap way to avoid buying a switcher that allows several inputs.

Works exactly as described. I am using a nice DSLR with this and it works great. It does get really warm which worries me about leaving it plugged in all the time? But it’s great. Time will tell if the heat is an issue.

Works as expected. I wanted to use this to connect the HDMI output on my Atem mini pro into my computer so I could avoid having to purchase a camera monitor. This allowed me to view the Atem interface and operate it's functions all on my laptop.
