First time steamer. Does the trick. Though, I am on a Mac and it’s kind of booty considering you can’t use it on OBS and the game capture software for elgato itself is super booty and has close to zero customization. Only works well with good internet connection but that’s given for any capture card. Overall, a pretty solid product. Definitely would recommend. Windows users would probably love it more.

Did exactly what we needed it to. We were able to stream a Smash Tournament on Twitch. Response time was great. Setup is easy. Only compliant is that the Elgato software can be a bit bloated. However, we ended up using OBS and it took the lag down substantially.

Depending on your configuration, this is a must have for twitch streamers. If you are looking to stream your ps4, xbox, or any other hdmi console (switch) then this is what you're looking for. It comes with a usb3 output to the PC. Just be sure your pc is at least an i5 or it won't be able to handle the encoding without stalling out.

This is my first elgato product and I love it!. Super easy to set up and use. The device does seem to get kinda warm and with that is the only reason I would be concerned. But the streams are high quality. Do I wish all the accessories you do not have to purchase individually but instead come in one package this would make the product 100 times Worth it.

Okay, so first of all I am new to this game capture area. I bought the elgato hd 60 s based on features and reviews. Honestly its been awesome so far, the streaming, commentary and game capture is awesome, the only downside is the setup because their instructions are not the best, and also the settings on the software should have instructions for lets say xbox one , ps4, and such. Remember to buy the chat link cables on amazon, it doesn't come in the package so you have to buy it yourself to record game chat. I think thats a downer because the hd60 has it included but the 60 z doesn't. Overall its great for beginners , the software lets you customize the recorded videos as well. Also you have to really play with the balance between the volume of game chat, and game sound, lots of trial and error.

Capture card is easy to setup and works great. Quality is awesome

I don’t have a TV and don’t have room for one, and prior to COVID I wasn’t home much and it was never a problem for me to use my laptop. This product has allowed me to use my PS4 once again. So glad I purchased this! PS if you have a PS4 you will need to change a setting on your PS4.

I purchased this device to stream games in Discord calls with my friends, so I am unfamiliar with how useful it may be for Twitch or other streaming platforms. What I can, however, is that it works as expected! Easy to set up, easy to use!

I purchased this to use when I stream off of my ps4 on my pc. I do recommend it but I will say that it sometimes won't work. It won't pick up the connection from the console to pc or program. Again, if you do need it to capture gameplay from your console I do recommend you get the HD60S, but there might be some hiccups.

This device is amazing for screen capture and can even allow you to stream while you play with the program it comes with. The biggest issue it has is that it is a pain in the butt to set up on any system except Windows 10 without digging around for an older software update. The quality you get from it once you actually have installed it however is EXCELLENT.

A bit hard to set up and you have to make some minor changes if you’re using it on the Xbox. Also didn’t always detect when it was turned on and had to pull out the USB cord, plug it back in in order to get it to work. Once you manage to get it set up it works fine and makes good quality video.

The downloadable program for the computer takes some trial and error to sort out how to use with the capture card. It appears to work best with high speed HDMI cords. the higher the speed, the better and both HDMI cords used should be the same speed, otherwise there may be lag in the recordings made.

This is super easy to use. Literally just gotta plug in an HDMI cord and you’re done. I use it to stream on Mixer and I am NOT very technologically savvy. I got this on sale and it was perfect for taking my stream to the next level without the headache of figuring out how to use it!

Many people don't have a gaming laptop or a quality computer. This little gadget solves your problem. Deliver high quality videos using your Xbox or PS4. Couldn't use OBS to deliver high quality videos on my computer and decided trying this out and will never go back.

It was practically plug and play. Works with Wii U.

Im not the most computer savvy but i did some research and purchased this for my daughter that wants to stream online this was wast to install and bring everything you need instructions easy to ready and under stand definitely recommend to others

This device works as expected if you are streaming off of a PlayStation 4 there's a little bit more that goes with it as far as being able to hook it up no fault of Elgato but that of PlayStation I'm extremely happy with my purchase note to reader I have not used the capture software that comes with the card
