I've been wanting to get one of these for the longest time and I'm glad I did. The quality is so clear and I can finally stream games in my Discord server and Twitch channel. This was definitely worth the money.

This device works as expected if you are streaming off of a PlayStation 4 there's a little bit more that goes with it as far as being able to hook it up no fault of Elgato but that of PlayStation I'm extremely happy with my purchase note to reader I have not used the capture software that comes with the card

If you are a hardcore gamer, you'll need this device to help you stream your gaming skis to the world. Make sure you buy this if you are committed to twitch or mixer streaming.

Recording quality is great. Sure beats screen recording. If you have issues with HDCP, buy one of those HDMI splitters on Amazon. It will solve your problems.

I've been using this for a few months now and i have absolutly no complaint's about this. I have streamed everything from game play to videos and there was no lag whatsoever. The only complaint i have is that there is no way to plug in more than system at the same time

Primarily use this for capturing gameplay for my YouTube channel. Captures 1080P at 60 frames. Sometimes the frame rate dips but that is rare. I know they also make a 4K version but since 1080P is still largely the standard, I didn't think it was worth the extra $$

Bought to record gameplay with series x capture card is real simple to use in conjunction with computer instructions are simple recordings and audio record very clear

Ok so this is made more for a console system but I am using it for both PC and PS4 streaming. It seems to have grounding issues when it comes to pc because as soon as I attach the HDMI cables to it there is horrible popping and high pitched hums. I am using the Elgato chat link for this as well but still does not work as it should. Software for streaming can be a bit confusing but as soon as I figured it out with the help of various tutorials I have it working well and my stream looks very good. One thing to note is you will need to make sure your video camera box is decreased in size while stream because it was very taxing on my stream quality. Again.. once i have tweaked everything it seems to be working great. Would I recommend this to a friends... yes with caution and research to make sure it's suiting there needs. As for the product itself. It is small, light weight and feels a bit cheap but like I said its doing the job.

Great Capture Card, footage comes back clean and without much delay at all. This is probably the best capture card you can get on the market right now and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to stream or do any other kind of video features that require a direct video feed.

Been meaning to get into streaming and this is the one that everyone recommended. Purchased it and it's been amazing to me. No complaints about it. If you can get your hands on it, that is. They seem to be very hard to come across.

I got this to stream from my Xbox to my Mac. The stream works great, no lagging or any other problems. But I have an Alienware monitor and for some reason the Elgato dims the screen. Without it plugged in the screen works fine. So as long as you don’t have an Alienware monitor it works great. Otherwise I love it and it works awesome.

I bought this so I could stream my PS4 from my Mac. It took some time because you can't get this to read OBS. You can't download 64 bit OBS on a mac and this only reads 64 bit. I was able to still make it work because I have a 2 screen set up. It works great though.

I BOUGHT THIS TO STREAM ON MY LATE 2012 MACBOOK PRO AND XBOX ONE X... I HAD TO INSTALL ANOTHER DRIVER TO MAKE THE ELGATO WORK ON MY MACBOOK. I ENDED UP RETURNING IT BECAUSE IT MADE MY CPU OVER RUN AND MY STREAM WAS NOT THE BEST.

This capture card never has any issues! I use this for streaming, and it works great. It captures every detail and pulls in 1080p60 quality graphics. It works quickly and effortlessly to transfer Switch games, and even PS4 games.

The capture card itself is great, no lag when watching the passthrough. The only problem that I have is software related (I think?) Eitherway, this could just be a problem caused by my PC, but my friend has similar problems but has different solutions. ANYWAYS... I still do recommend this product. It does it's job as it is supposed to. Pros: -Good capture quality -Little-to-no lag when using the passthrough feature -Works on next-gen consoles -Easy setup Cons: -Software feels a bit slow, but isn't too noticable. -Requires a relatively good PC in order to use and stream -Software is buggy ^ When turning on my console and the software it would not display the game on the instant preview and sound would not work. The only way to get it to work is to unplug the HDMI or USB, and keep doing until it worked. (Rather annoying but at least it works.)

My son begged me to get this for him so he can start a career in professional online gaming. Insisted he will pay me back. Still waiting for that to happen. Capture card seems to work just fine, but it does not come with any tutorials to build an online following and broadcasting tips.

This is my first experience with a capture device. Easy to setup, easy to use. I did have an issue where it wouldn't display video, tech support wasd on it and fix the issue... after trying 20 things. In the end it worked and I now can fix the uncommon error is 2 seconds.

Works like a charm, but only if your PC isn’t old. I tried running it in an old Acer model that was at least 5 years old. Did not pick up. Once I got my new laptop this past Tuesday I was able to get it to work.
