Works like a charm, but only if your PC isn’t old. I tried running it in an old Acer model that was at least 5 years old. Did not pick up. Once I got my new laptop this past Tuesday I was able to get it to work.

This new version of the Elgato game capture is smaller (more compact) than previous versions and the unit itself and the software are very easy to install. This is a must have for those who like to record game play and post videos, etc. Great gift for streamers.

Was very easy to install and connect to my son's Switch and MBP. Had some issues connecting to the USB dock, but worked fine once we unplugged the extra devices we had connected that weren't being used (we also have a pretty cheap USB hub).

Elgato never fails to provide a great product. This is a must for streaming video games online. Easy to figure out and connect to consoles, and works perfectly for what I need.

The Elgato HD60 S is simple enough for a beginner to use with OBS. The HDMI pass through means you can place it in between your device and the tv/monitor. Higher video resolution? Try the S+. Pro setup? Switch to BlackMagic design.

Elgato HD60s is by far the best external game capture device out there!! It captures anything that can output to HDMI. Works amazing with OBS streaming, or you can use elgatos software to capture the video on PC. Must by for any streamer or video maker!

This card was recommended to stream off of consoles. There is no delay in the stream. Stream is real-time! Super easy to use- plug and play. Comes with all the cables you will need to set it up. This is a great buy!

Im using this on my streaming PC to capture on my gaming PC! Captures in 1080p at 60fps! HD with no problems. was a hassle to setup but found youtube videos to help me get that going!

If you're a streamer, I highly recommend this product. I'm a PC streamer and I use the capture card for the switch! I haven't used it with other consoles but if you're trying to play Let's Go Pikachu or another switch game then I'd say you're golden!

Bought this to stream HS games. Even though there are better streaming softwares like OBS. Their Elgato streaming software is stupid simple. Link account and click stream basically and its on Youtube.

I use this to stream my gameplay onto twitch and it works perfectly. It allows me to use streamlabs so I can have overlays included on my stream instead of looking plain. I would recommend this to a friend for streaming and recording gameplay.

Make sure you realize that 1. You need to use USB 3. 2. The USB 3 goes to the laptop, not the device. THe USB C in the product description goes to the device itself. ANyways, had no issues except for Elgato Sound Capture. However, that is a software issue and not a hardware issue. Connecting my console's display input through the ELgato has slightly lower color range- I can see clearly the anti-aliasing fails in colors such as grey, and dark spaces. However, the display reacts just as fast to input, and seems no slower than the connecting the console directly to the TV. So if you're worried about keeping the ELgato connected while gaming casually, it's no problem. The quality of the stream is going to depend more on your internet instead of your laptop's performance. Of course, desktop/laptop performance is important, but it matters not if your internet isn't fast enough. This is the buyer's issue, not the Elgato's

This is great because I enjoy my gaming on both PS4 and PC. The only gripe I have is it took awhile to understand how to get it to cooperate with Streamlabs OBS. It using the ElGato software to stream its super easy... Plug & Play

Super good device and I use it to stream on twitch from my ps4 using my laptop. I wish it would give me more followers. But I think you have to buy bots and bust buy currently doesn’t have any for sale.

This is a good device for streaming, easy to use and easy to set up. I wish that it was more compatible with ultrawides as it only works in the 16:9 format. If you want to run at a higher resolution than 1080, this isn't the device for you.

Bought the Elgato hd60 s for streaming console on Mixer... works great. Just plug the console into it and plug the hd60 s into your pc... stream ready. (Note: pc must meet elgato and streaming service requirements) .

This is super easy to use and set up. I recommend this for anyone but you need to make sure your computer will be able to process the free download able software and run it smoothly or it will be pointless.

This is byfar the most exceptional investment that I've made. It's easy to use, and works for longtime. I've had mine for about almost a year now and it has been recording all of my stuff and streaming with no issues.

I love how small and portable this is. Easy to use and perfect for streaming and recording consoles on pc or laptop. Haven't tried it on mac but I believe it works on there too.
