Make sure you watch the tutorial to set it up. Easy plug and play and I suggest getting another hdmi cable, even though it comes with one in case of streaming online.

So im sure most people who buy this thing primarily use it to record video or streaming. I just use it so i can play my switch through my imac. works great and no lag.

Was able to get the capture card to allow me to run my gaming monitor at 1440p at 144hz by using obs and projecting my screen to the elgato. Works perfectly for what i need.

I figured id use this more than i currently do. I bought it for Vj/visual production so i can run 2 PCs while running visuals for concerts. It is pretty lag free, and simple to use.

I had an elgato before and it was easy to use. This is no exception and I truly recommend this. I do not stream but I make YouTube videos. If you have usb 2.0 on your computer this will not work by the way.

It does what it’s supposed to, took me a bit to figure out how to get it to work properly but after doing so works fine. Haven’t used it on Twitch but comes out fine when I stream through Discord.

Surprised i was able to even use this on my mini laptop. was trying to stream on my switch and the setup makes it so much easier. worth every penny.

I got this so I could steam from my Switch onto my computer. It can be a little finicky but works well when everything is connected properly with the right settings.

Personally I love it I think it works great. I really don’t have anything negative to say about it. As long as you have common sense and are willing to learn how to use it the best way it’s amazing.

DOES NOT WORK WITH M1 MACS. You have to get the plus to get it to work. I bought it not knowing this. Works great with my pc other than that. Industry standard for streamers. No complaints.

Been wanting one of these bad boys for years and finally got one. It’s very easy to use and set up. The software is also really easy to understand and I was able to stream/record instantly.

I just started streaming and video recording and this has been a great tool! Very easy to set up and use, and after about two months I can report 0 problems.

A great starter capture card, cannot wait to upgrade to a much better quality one but financially that is not possible right now. This gets the job done and makes Twitch streaming from the Nintendo Switch a breeze

I picked up the Elgato to test for streaming and it ended up not being for me , But if you have the extra money and maybe not a good streaming pc this might be for you.
