Purchased this unit to stream an HDMI camera. It's done a great job and is very simple to set up. Gave it 4 stars because I wasn't as excited about how it takes over the audio controls of your computer.

Easy to setup/ use game capture. Currently using it for my ps4 and have been playing around editing gameplays. Records in 60fps so you can slow down footage if need be.

I got this to be able to use my video camera for on line art classes. It works great right out of the box. Ot has changed the way I interact with my students on line.

I wanted to get into streaming, and this capture card is easy to use out of the box. I paired it with Streamlabs OBS instead of the default software though, and it works great!

Wether you want to broadcast on Twitch, become a YoiuTuber, or just play console games through your PC, this gadget has you covered. This model won't do 4k, but is still great for high framerates at 1080p with no perceptible input lag.

The Elgato HD60 S is probably the most basic and commonly used capture cards for good reason. Not the highest quality but it does what it needs to do for a first timer.

i am enjoying the game catcher very much as it has allowed me to record my games and share with friends. I had not been able to do any of this before purchasing this device.

easy to setup and use. we've used it only once, at this date, but we plan on using it frequently and will update the review if necessary in the future.

In addition to its gaming functions, this product allows you to connect a video camera live into a computer via USB. Most cameras come with a USB out but it doesn't work for transmitting live video.

Confusing to set up the first time but other than that it works for what you need. Whether that is for streaming or a cam link type of situation for a dslr camera.

This device is used primarily by my son to record walk-throughs for games played on the XBox One platform. The setup was very straightforward, even on a Mac. We will be trying it out to stream on Twitch shortly.

This is a great device for recording and livestreaming. So far I've only used it to record gameplay from my Switch. It works great with OBS as well.

This is worth the price for the extra compatibility and performance. Don't bother with the cheap options elsewhere, they're unreliable at best.

We tried other capture cards but they are not as good as elgato. It works well with older computers and new ones. Works easily with OBS.

Works like a charm! I can finally livestream off of my Nintendo 64, PS2, PS3, and NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) in high quality. Wooo!

I had to get use to it but I got it now. Streaming on twitch with no issues. I love it. Good price and does it’s job.

Plug and play with Windows and Elgato Game Capture software. Runs fast on my laptop and I can’t notice lag at all - I could play just fine from the live preview feed!

We purchased this Capture device to enable us to use a Sony hand-held video camera to stream our worship services. It is plug & play, just like advertised. Images are clear, and there is no noticeable lag time (latency) at all. The only thing I wish were better is there are basically no instructions whatsoever. Everything is on line, and they want you to download all kinds of software which I didn't need, and had no idea what most of it was even for. But I am an old guy, so that might just be a generational thing. All in all, it is a good product, and I admit I was pleasantly surprised by the price. I could not find it lower anywhere, at least not retail.

I've used this for a while and it works like a champ for streaming. Nice and compact as well as easy it is to setup and get working in a few minutes right from the box.
