Essential for console streaming

It's good and reliable. The only issue is using this to stream older consoles such as the PS3. You have to jump through hoops just to make this card compatible. The price is also a bit crazy for what it does, but that's just how Elgato does business.

Good starter capture card

Would be nice if el gato/Corsair company would actually create drivers for Mac OS & OBS usage. Mac users in order to have game audio you have to stream off the el gato software. It gets the job done the only downside with the software is if you have custom overlays you have to manually add them.

I use it to stream Splatoon 2 on the Nintendo Switch with my friends, I also record clips for Twitter and things like that. Editing software is basic, allows you to trim what you’ve recorded but not much else. Still a 5 out of 5 for me because I didn’t expect it to come with editing software anyways.

Simply the best when it comes to Streaming

Previously was using Windows 10 "game streaming" feature on the Xbox Companion app, but this opens a whole plethora of options when it comes to streaming. 4/5 stars because the price is still a bit steep if you are trying to get into streaming and on a budget.
