this capture card does its job perfectly. i mainly use this with my xbox so i can stream xbox games to discord. make sure you watch a youtube video about how to set it up, it can be confusing at first.

This thing was a headache at first but I don’t think it’s the devices fault. I was having issues with it capturing my Xbox video. Turns out, the Elgato program they tell you to download for the capture card, had to be completely uninstalled from the pc. Once I did that, it was able to pick up the video.

This works perfectly for live streaming my Nikon Z 7 through Streamlabs OBS while also providing an output monitor. This camera faces away from my desktop, which makes the HDMI output all the more important to monitor audio levels.

Perfect for starting streamers! Do you absolutely need a capture "card"? I'm leaning more toward "yes" as whenever something happens on stream that I want to clip and play back later, it's all ready to access.

You can never go wrong with this brand! It delivers and does exactly what I need. I stream regularly and it’s important for me to have the best equipment for every occasion. Highly recommend.

It’s decent for what it is, but if you’re on console (PlayStation or Xbox) it really won’t be helpful for you. The Elgato is really for previous gen consoles (PlayStation3 or Xbox360) as well as even trying to stream games from your Switch.

Works as advertised with one exception. Every time I turn on the streaming PC, I have to unplug and plug the usb connection back in to initialize the capture device. Annoying for sure but not a deal breaker since I don’t have the room to install an internal card.

Great streami g device , comfortable, portable, and works even with laptops and image and audio quality of the captures are top notch and great. Qould most definitely recommend it to someone else.

very useful if dont wanna switch display inputs from your monitor, unless your device is connected to a 2nd monitor but overall this capture card is really nice :)

Excellent item for your streaming needs. It doesn’t capture 4k though. This is good you’re only recording games with 1080p. Otherwise, HD60 S+ is a better item which costs 20 dollars more,

Works fine but required quite a bit of trial and error as the instructions were not clear. Finally got it to work on my Mac after ordering adapters and finding the correct cables. A bit of work to get it to function properly but is up and rolling now and should serve the purpose.

Audio is a big problem when trying to convert a dual PC. Not to may good in detail set ups to reference. This item is great thought for console heads and people who travel and want to be able to capture video with ease.

It’s okay if you’re trying to use stream labs along with it but then comes the problem with audio. When you’re using OBS or even the elgato capture site you can’t have audio coming through your headset without losing audio to your stream or the video in general. It’s a known issue. There’s ways to fix it but it causes you to lose quality and honestly that’s what people purchase a capture device for, quality. So all in all it’s good if you absolutely want to have overlays on your stream but it sucks at the same time because then you have to have a janky set up with two mics, ect. I wouldn’t recommend it in all honesty

My son uses this daily. If you or your kid are a gamer who videotapes themselves playing or posting videos on Youtube, you need this. The editing tools are superb and the graphics are top-notch as well.

This is a very great product however, the box tells us the it’s compatible with Mac OS X which isn’t completely the case. Yes the software works fine but when connecting to OBS or other 3rd party like obs, the macs do not detect the elgato software within OBS.

This device is very helpful for starting out, especially if you're on a budget and don't have such power at your disposal. Great to record and stream content on my Xbox and PC. I find it quite fair with the power it gives!

It works okay. I’ve tried multiple consoles and only really had luck with PlayStation 4 which can stream directly anyway. Trying to figure out ps3 and Nintendo switch still. There is a slight delay when streaming.

If you are looking to screen record a PS4, then this is a great Capture card for its price. I would highly recommend this item if you are making YouTube videos or streaming live on Twitch. All in all, this is a great product.

my husband absolutely loves his and uses it nearly every time he streams on twitch. great purchase if you're willing to fork out a couple big greens. wish it was a considerable bit cheaper
