Nice product. Make sure that you have good configuration laptop/PC before you buy otherwise video will chop.

My daughter wanted to make YouTube gaming videos. This device does the job but doesn’t seem to have adequate effects and editing. It works well for what it is.

works well just expect to use a passthrough display thats higher than 1080p/60hz because it wont work.

My son streams his Xbox games and he has a laptop so we needed this external video capture card. It works very well and we've had no problems.

I purchased this capture card to record some retro gaming direct from some old consoles for Twitch, and it turns out you can't record in any "unsupported formats", being only 16:9. I talked with Elgato (Corsair), and they basically told me it wasn't their problem, that I need to use supported formats. Records everything else that uses widescreen just fine, just the lack of 4:3 support is annoying.

This has streaming softwares. No need to use and pay forXsplit. With USB 3.0 NO LAG.

I bought this so i can stream from my console, not knowing that it caps at 1080p i returned it and bought the 4k version.

The only difference with this compared to the internal capture card is that this has more wires to connect but is More versatile moving to different computers.

When it works it works well, but when it doesn't it's annoying to deal with. Audio crackling is frequent enough to be a major annoyance and it requires going into the settings of both my ps4 and ps5 to enable and then disable HDCP which means disconnecting the hdmi chord from my tv, swapping it for the one attached to the console, toggling the settings, and then switching back. Another MAJOR issue is the fact that, in attempting to fix the issue, I did a firmware update which promptly bricked the capture card. Why bother giving users the option if such a major issue can be caused? Like I said before, when it works it's good, but when it doesn't the issues continue to pile up and the support is difficult to deal with to say the least which is why this rating is 2 stars instead of a solid 4 that it could be had it not bricked on me and had there not been consistent audio issues.

Works great use it to stream Xbox to computer and haven’t had any issues. Does sometimes make Xbox run hard but it’s old. Normal

My husband wanted this to be able to stream his phone game. Works great. Was a little bit of a pain getting software to work.

This thing is AMAZING! Works so smooth and puts out such a good picture! Love it!

This is the best if you really want to stream to gaming console games to the internet for all to watch. and it's portable. highly recommend it to all.

I have had this for a while and have not had any issues with it. Sleek look so it does not take up much space.

Had it for a month now and it constantly disconnects and doesn’t even connect in the first place most of the time, I’ve tried new HDMI and USB cables and still, updated drivers and reinstalled OBS and Elgato capture, still disconnects. I’ve only got it to work for 2 hours maximum.

Streaming has become so much easier with this capture card, has been on the fence but hooked in nicely with great quality.
