Would be better if the adapter and microphone came with it

Easy to use. Helpful staff got me the part I needed.

Very good for Dual PC streaming if you want to stream but the elgato sometimes stops picking up audio from your gaming PC to send it to your Streaming PC on OBS. My Elgato is now picking up 0 audio and is just staticing.

bought it as a gift for my husband and he loves it

When it works it’s perfect but it would barley ever work. I spent all the money I saved up for this to start a YouTube Channel and as soon as I plug it in it worked for about 15 minutes then would disconnect. When I would finally get it to connect the software screen would just be black. Then if I would get really lucky it would work for an hour then turn black again. Or It would disconnect and say something like connect elgato to usb 3.0 which it was and I would constantly change the usb. I had an older elgato and this never happened. I also emailed elgato 3 different times about my problem and got no response. I am currently debating if I want to keep trying it or returning it and trying to buy another. I know it’s not my computer causing the problems so I have no idea I also watched every YouTube video there was about my problems and nothing helped. If you want to risk getting one maybe it’ll be different for you or maybe my elgato is malfunctioning I am very annoyed with the constant problems and no help.

The device works, but if I had to do it again, I would go with the higher model, I haven't used any device like this, other than this one. It is totally worth the price I paid when it was on sale. Also they could of made it easier to use.

Arrived in good condition seems to work fine except for the fact I can't get audio to run through it. I've heard of a lot of people having this problem but can't figure out how to fix it.

Was easy to set up. Easy instructions and the software it came with was nice. But no matter what I did it would not connect to my computer.

Maybe in the Windows Universe these work ok, but certainly not in the Mac world. Intermittent drop outs in the connection with OBS. Not really useable.

Good for those who are on a budget. Gets the job done, but quality is as expected for this price point. Plagued with audio issues. If you have the budget and capability, go with the 4k60 gen 2.

Once you get it setup properly it works but occasionally there are a couple disconnects that forces you to go through some settings to try to fix, which involves a lot of trial and error

I like this a lot but it gets HDCP errors a fair amount of times which forces me to restart... and my computer must always be plugged in because if it goes to sleep then i lose my game visual (annoying in multiplayer)

Purchased to use an SLR camera as a video conference. The image was down graded to 480 when it was broadcast. Haven’t had time to troubleshoot it yet, but so far it’s a no go

Worked for getting game to my computer but I couldn’t hear audio from game on stream ... did some google and turns out lot of these have that same problem.. I ended up returning it ..

Very hard to get it working. All connections are set but device wouldn’t display. You are lucky when it works. It works when it wants

Kinda hard to use and set up but once you do you’re good. Not the best capture card but the best at the value and made by the best capture card brand.

the problem with this was more the software than the hardware, I don't know exactly what was happening, but I ended up returning it due to difficulties and not cutting it.

I’m sure this product is great for someone with a gaming computer or laptop. My laptop just wasn’t fast enough for this to work like I want it to

Has CONSTANT issues and connection errors, nothing you can do about them but jiggle around several cords hoping that one of them seem to fix the issue. The port for the Usb-C is super wobbly and is probably the main cause. Elgato just isn't worth what they list their prices as, super inflated for what you get.
