So after getting the needed chat cable that doesn't come along with the Elgato...(extra $10 on Amazon) my voice is heard from people in my party, but voice does not go through Stream.. even though the party can be heard... Super weird, but doesn't properly work! I'm using PS4 with wired headset to a controller, and a custom PC. Elgato says the only way around this ridiculousness is to invest in a desktop mic... (Blue Yeti - another $120)... So beware of extra 'costs' to get this working correctly....

Not only is this product insanely complicated to use/setup, the box says it works with Mac and that is an absolute lie. Certain drivers are required for your Mac to recognize this device, Mac drivers DO NOT exist and there are currently no plans to develop such drivers. This is a PC product only. It’s a lot of money for this and it didn’t even work like it says it would… I’ve had 3 computers and it only works on my laptop… like ??? And I can’t do anything about it because we’ll it’s been a long time since I’ve bought this and I can’t return or even give this to someone to fix it or test I’m just so lost and confused…

I wanted to love the Elgato gaming capture but it was so hard to setup and such bad quality. I figured out that Nvida Geforce Experience can capture my 1440p resolution monitor for FREE at 60fps with Flashback recording and everything! I decided to return it but i will continue to shop at this Lynwood BestBuy store because Ed is so helpful and nice. Ive been going to this one in particular for the past years all because of how amazing Ed is!

Would not recommend for PC to PC use. Was attempting to outsource video recording instead of streaming everything while gaming from one device. Audio and video quality problems occurred during setup and troubleshooting. May function for other gaming devices in console to PC configuration, but not for PC to PC configuration.

Worst product ever. I've tried so many times to get this thing to connect from my switch to my laptop, and it just won't connect. I've tried everything that elgato has said to do, I've checked online forums for answers, and I still have not been able to connect it.

Did not work with my computer. When I returned it and asked for help they suggested Avery media. Works perfect.

I purchased this to do screen capture for a clients computer of their software. I wasn't impressed at all at the quality.

Not MacOS software compatible for stream sites other than on their own site.

I will give their product and software their benefit of doubt. Very easy to operate. It was hard to locate one in person rather than having it shipped to my home. It only worked for 3 days before I ended up returning this. I searched an alternative and happy with that choice.

Not compatible with Mac basically useless buy the next version

Bought as a replacement to a cheaper version. Ran multiple tests prior to using for a company live stream for a couple hours. Failed as I was starting the Live stream and had to cancel the program. Not Happy... at all. Returned for refund. Hope your luck is better. Cheaper HDMI-USB unit still running!

It cannot capture audio. You have to uninstall drivers, restart programs and disable other drivers to get it to work. I haven't owned this for almost a year and it has a very tough time capturing audio. Would I recommend this? No.

I got this for my husband for a Christmas present and it was a waste of money. It would not stay connected to the computer, it constantly connected and disconnected. We bought another cable thinking that would fix it but it didn't. And now it is too late to return it.

If you are on a Mac this will not be your plug in and play solution to using a second camera with zoom. The only way it will work is to download the Obi-studio software and there is a big learning curve and it takes over as the interface. So for my purposes it was a big waste

No delivery as BestBuy screwed up the delivery address. Then they marked the Order as completed, and refuse to correct shipping problem and will only credit the order when the item that was never delivered is returned. I would be very careful in having BestBuy ship anything.

It doesn't work with any of my consoles. Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, Apple TV 4K, or anything for that matter. It doesn't output to either the montior, or the TV i'm using. I can't put it into Final Cut Pro on my Mac, because the audio is not clipped together. On my Windows gaming computer, it has the same issues.

Returned to store. Had a hard time getting it to connect.

It's an ok capture card. it takes a lot of tweaks and software to get it to the quality you want. Sucks you have to buy a chatlink audio cable too which is used so it can record everyone's voice including your own!! It's a pain.
